Looks like #taxiforrobins has evolved into #taxiletmarkdirectthecityofcultureeffort.Question: “are we not into the medium term now under Robins?”
Answer: “Robins gets on well with SISU”
McQuoid was on loan along with Coulibaly and Alsopp. All 3 were shit.No it isn’t. The fact is we sold Callum Wilson and purchased Josh Mcquoid. The sale of McCallum was done to prevent such issues. You honestly think Sisu will not for the fourth year running be supplying a unsecured loan?
Portsmouth spent £1.5-2 million on Marquis and he’s scored 6 league goals...
McNulty and Grigg between them have 6 goals in all competitions, 4 in the league. Grigg cost £4 million and has scored 1 goal in 19 league games.
Only strikers from Top 6 teams to have strikers with over 10 goals so far: Lapado - 10 goals, Norwood - 11 goals, Toney and Elisa - 21 and 13 respectively.
Our striking options don’t seem that bad right now. Not perfect, but reasonably good.
#taxi it may have escaped your attention but we have a brilliant shot at promotion this year. Best to support the lads on the pitch to achieve this vs. idle speculation on who you personally want to bin this summer. What does that achieve at this time? It’s self destructive.Ok so if Godden, Biamou and Bakayoko were all ending their contracts this year which if you were the manager would you retain and why?

I like the bit about canning Robins and putting him in the ‘Big Ron’ role upstairs, so that he can spend all day giving pelters to Wasps and The Council in the CET.#taxi it may have escaped your attention but we have a brilliant shot at promotion this year. It’s a redundant question, Biamou and Gooden are under contract past this summer.
As for Bakayoko, it’s dependent on him, if he ends the season well, it’ll be worth extending his contract. He’s got 4 goals in 19 league appearances, scoring a goal every 200-odd minutes - he’s nowhere near as bad as his critics make out.
We didn't purchase him then did weWhich was my point
I’m on a long train journey and in tears - tears of laughter. Best entertainment in years - thanks Grendel - please keep going!I like the bit about canning Robins and putting him in the ‘Big Ron’ role upstairs, so that he can spend all day giving pelters to Wasps and The Council in the CET.
We are 13th on the table for goals scored at home. It's still a concern for me.
Joint 2nd on fewest home goals conceded so defensively it's looking good.
Yes, and I was wondering how those two donkeys Bakayoko and Biamou got on, those two need chopping ASAPAnyone know what the score was yesterday?
Are strikers are shit and Robins is luckyAnyone know what the score was yesterday?
We’re 4th in the table, 2-3 games in hand on the teams above us and we’ve only lost only 3 games.
Just enjoy each game as it comes and trust the process! If we get automatics, it’s a fantastic achievement as no one expected it. If we end in the playoffs, we have an opportunity of promotion still.
It really wouldn’t be and it actually asking your opinion. Promotion are they good enough - yes or no?
I say no - you?

Happy clappers 3 - 2 nihilistic moanersAnyone know what the score was yesterday?
Don't disagree with any of that but for me lack of goals is still a concern.
Thanks for asking Grends. I’m beating an urgent path to the Coventry City of Culture Trust to nominate Robins as the new Chair in line with your latest genius idea. Are you? Where are you going?

They should have continued with agent Burge in goal.lolOf the teams around us, only Rotherham and P’boro have scored significantly more than us.
Only Sunderland have conceded less than us of the top 8.
Yes he can, and I can disagree with him. It’s his opinion he can say what he likes
@Grendel
Now look m8, I know you’re a tad ‘busy’ at the mo ...and I really don’t want to chase you around this fucking forum. It’s Florida m8, it’s a sunny day, I’ve got things to do, a wife to disappoint, a full dishwasher to ignore etc..
Counter my earlier question so I can be disappointed in you one last time.
What about Mark Robins’ style of play? The passing game. It’s the best we’ve seen in many years isn’t it? (Generally speaking, not yesterday specifically.)
I have always been fairly consistent on this as well.
The only good football is winning football. Regardless how it’s achieved.
I’ve also said our midfield is very strong
I also credit the style more to Videash than Robins

Agreed about Viveash. If he wasn’t here don’t think we’d be playing this way - it’s very much an academy style of play. Viveash said as much in his interviews
Still though the first team manager has to back it which he has done
That’s another plus surely that he works well with his assistantI have always been fairly consistent on this as well.
