You've got to stop threatening to do that.Or spunk.

I wouldn't count on it.You’ve two places left on your bench, assuming you’d put Chaplin and Addai in? ;-)

Westbrooke on the left wing?

Burroughs or Bremang in place of Chaplin and of course Addai.

He thinks Chaplin is the worst striker. In fact, not only the worst striker, but the worst striker in the whole of League One and not only the worst striker in the whole of League One, but the worst striker in League One by a million miles.
So, my guess is no, he won't be on the bench for London's Saturday team selection.
That was the Baka show, good assist from Chaplin thoughCorrect, id swap him for anyone elses striker in League one.
Every striker we play against week in week out looks better and stqtistically is better. Just take glandulain or whatever his name is for blackpool , or game before vs plymouth, swap him for Ladapo or Lameiras any day. Or this week vs Gills would have spent 500k on Tom Eaves.
Jeez id take even take Wycombes third choice striker Akinfenwa!
Btw im judging Chaplin as ive witnessed his every minute on the pitch. Apart from Charlton away missed that game.
Didnt he play there against Southen, or switch hime to other side with Thomas.
Regardless he was imo our best player last game. Excellent with dead ball. Seem to remember wasnt this the game he delivered pin point clever ball over the top for chaplin to blaze over with only keeper to beat.
JCH needs service. We really struggle with set play delivery. That's a massive thing division goals from set plays. Westbrook from what I've seen is our best dead ball specialist.I get your not a Chaplin fan, no need to explore that opinion right now but if Westbrook was our best player do you not think your doing what many dislike about MR in putting a player in Westbrook who was also in my opinion excellent last week shifting out to the wing to accommodate a return of Bayliss.
Your now shoehorning a player back in like MR. why not play the same system and just change Chaplin for a more physical lead main man in JCH.

Westbrooke looks to take a decent corner but the biggest issue is lack of movement.
If you look at Willis' goal against Stoke he was making a run for Davies putting it back across. When we get set pieces now everybody stands still as if they know it's going to go to the keeper anyway.
I would love to see them even reach the keeper, seems to just be headed away by the first defender

I understand your logic, But would harsh to drop Zain.
MR has one eye on next season. Zain and a few other promising youngsters deserve a chance to stake a claim in place of Chaplin.
agree @steve82 no formation change needed. we are making chances. just tweaks needed now to avoid conceding silly goals and making sure we convert chances or make the right pass
if we keep outshooting teams eventually we will start winning more than we lose

I wouldnt change formation either.442 all the way. Thats the team i would go with. Really interesting to see if Robins brings the young in form striker Bremang into the squad. Couldnt do any worse.
You are proposing a change to formation to a 442 from the 4231 we’ve gone back to in the last few games tho?
Robins has said hes tried to be really fluid with front 4.
Difficult to see at times what system we are playing since Brights been in team. Hes been all over the field last few games.

Totally agree. Would have worked like a dream if we just took even half of our chances. The last 2 home games have been 4231 for sure, and very fluid with the 3 in behind. I’m guessing the Plymouth game was the same.
It’s working just without reward for me.

We have created more than enough very good chances to have won the last two games easily.Diasagree completely. The system hasnt worked, resukts dictate that. Playing one up front, plain and simple just not enough strikers or bodies in the box most of the time.
But we have bossed it in midfield, but whatever system we play its trade off to suit your personnel.

Comfortable 3-0 win with McNulty and Biamou up front.
Then I wake up covered in piss.

Yeah. Remember him.Gillingham just signed Ricky Holmes. Class act

Community day - big crowd = poor performance and heavy defeat. Can see this being the day the fans lose patience and a pretty horrific atmosphere by the end.

Not overly sure about Bright in front of Mason so maybe Shipley LM and Bright up front?
Let me have a go Sky Blue dreamer - more fun I agree than usual given the activity:

No idea if this would work.
But I'm always a sucker for new signings (particularly with prior Premiership experience or from youth set-ups), I want to see more of AB and Bright I think has something. Bayliss first off the bench when my formation fails.
If nothing else it would be attacking and interesting. I also think Thomas should be played in a more roving role - he's been heavily marked and a little isolated out on the wings. I really hope Willis is back - we miss him. This means dropping Chaplin and Bayliss but I think they could both do with some time out.
I actually think it's been a great window for us but I'm always hopeful before seeing new signings in action.
