Does such a thing as a complete list of every Coventry match featured live on TV exist?
Failing that, can anyone answer me this:
I know that Coventry had a home game against Ipswich shown live on Sky on October 10th 1994 but does anyone know which channel it was on? (Sky Sports 1 / Sky Sports 2?)
Also, there was another home game against the same opposition on November 20th 2000. Again, can anyone name the channel?
Might seem a bit random me asking this but there's a very good reason behind it.
Was the 00 game the one we lost 4-2 ( probably Counago) at Highfield road think we were 2-0 up aswell remember as it was a Sunday lunchtime on TV and Ipswich had a following of over 2,500.
In the absence of anyone having a copy on here, you could email the guy that runs this site and ask him -http://oldfootballdvds.weebly.com/english-football-dvds-1990---2000.html (quick google shows a few sites like this one).

Thanks oldfiver. Annoyingly, Sky Sports 2 was launched just a couple of months before this match took place - which is the only reason I'm questioning it. Though, if like you say, it generally only showed other sports (at least to start with) then perhaps it was SS1.
On Wikipedia it says that Sky Sports 2 "mainly broadcasts Cricket and Rugby Union". Was that true at the time?
And yes, thanks. I have seen those threads. They are good for saying what games were on telly but generally don't go into too much detail (ie. which channels they were on) Nevertheless, they are a starting point.

The 94 one was a Wednesday night, most likely SS2, don't think SS3 existed as the time. Probably best to establish this fact fact first. I went the game, think John Wark scored an own goal for them.

I'm doing some research for an upcoming website about football on TV historically. Ipswich matches are my first port of call so that explains the Ipswich connection. These were the only two matches involving Coventry and Ipswich that I had question marks over.
So, if anybody is able to recall which channel Coventry 2-0 Ipswich on Monday 10th October 1994 was I would be most grateful. I think I've tried everything I possibly can as far as Googling goes so I'm relying on people's memory here. Many thanks.
Yes, I have since managed to establish that the game in 2000 was on Sky Sports 1. Thanks.

Bizarrely enough.... Our school (Woodlands) hosted a school from Ipswich Grammar, Australia, for those few days. They went to this match, an I managed to talk to the blokes from Sky to see of they could do a quick flash of the lads from Ipswich, as the game was being shown in Aus. Don't know if happened because I was at the game with the Aussies.
