It was a post on SBT obviously
I bet Michael's frantically working on another mailout as we speak. 74% of fans love them.
We have these kinds of silly arguments on the Brighton equivalent of SBT - we can it a 'binfest'. (Type 'binfest' into Google).
I'm still none the wiser as to the route ALL Coventry fans should take, but I would say that there is some amusing petulance on here. I'm sure skybluetony176 may have a valid point to make, but it has got lost by the fact he's also creating his own little alternate fantasy every time he's challenged on something. Again, I can think of one or two posters on North Stand Chat that this would relate to.
I would say I'm sorry for lobbing this Forum Grenade upon you, but it is mildly entertaining. There is still the Chris Cattlin interview on our same website if anyone wants to listen in. He doesn't say particularly gracious things about Mick Ferguson's time at Brighton.
Anyhoo, just ignore me, I'm going to sit back and watch the spectacle unravel. Pringle or Monster Munch, anyone?
I'm sure there's a word for people who like chucking in forum 'hand grenades' and winding people up. I think it begins with 't' and ends with 'l'.
If you want the truth about what's gone on, then make yourself a cup of tea and read through the two court case transcripts (the situation as summarised by a neutral arbiter). Once you've done that, go read the work of Les Reid, Simon Gilbert, and David Conn on this. They come at it from different places, but they've all got valuable insights - as has Rob.
Once you've done that, maybe you'd care to offer your thoughts on what the fans should do next. If you could compress it into a thirty minute piece that would be great. It'll take some actual effort though - a bit more than just having one talking head and then stirring it up on a forum perhaps
there are still major problems to come for CCFC
I wanted to let Brighton fans know some insight into what is going on at Coventry. It's evidently more confused than I first realised, but if you think I asked a Coventry fan on the show just for a wind-up, I think you need to get over yourself a bit more.
Whose truth? You can't even decide that between you. Your petulance does your club no favours.
I'd like to have thought fans of other clubs could help out. It's evidently not required - fair enough, that's your call; I'll leave you to your unresolved bickering.

There is a difference of opinion as to the apportionment of blame yes, a difference of opinion as to the way forward yes, a difference of opinion of who did what when and how effective yes.......... but isn't that the nature of forums? Is that unhealthy?
You deserve a like, just because of the fairness in your advice and, dare I say it, objectivity
Thanks NW. I didn't mean to have a pop at TLO, and I wouldn't have said anything if he didn't seem to be enjoying provoking an unnecessary row.
In truth, I'd rather look forward rather than backwards - the big worry now is the possible deal with Wasps. Nothing stands still in CV6 it seems!
Woah woah woah. Don't put words in my mouth. I said it was a fans group no one asked for and its a minority opinion. And that it only rears its head when trying to cause trouble for CCC.
OK maybe I did say that.
Not bothered about how they were formed to be honest, their actions alone tell you all you need to know. I'm sure there's as much chance that Rob is a useful idiot as much as genuinely underhand. Regardless, the point is his view is a minority extremist one.
Michael, with the best will in the world, in the nicest way possible and, hey, in the interests of fan unity, I'll ask you to re-read your recent comments and have a think about what you wrote and why you wrote it. Then maybe you'd like to come back with another comment? I'm happy to wait an hour or so for a response and I'll hold off any further response myself rather than continue the childish bickering right now. However, I will be very happy to provide some actual facts and corrections to your comments.
Will that give you enough time to ask Tim or Joy for a reply..
