Am I right in thinking that the pictures illustrating this story are not Quinton Road but show the junction of Manor Road and Park Road?

Maybe the author hasn't got time to drive over from Birmingham?

I suppose it means the approach signs at the junction of Manor Road and Park Road to the bus gate at the junction of Park Road and Quinton Road are wrong.

Yep,that picture is definitely of Park Road and Manor Road.

I did tweet them to point out whizzing up the A45 and A46 via Tollbar roadworks wasn't my idea of scenic and the response was 'what's not to like?'

Each to their own, I guess!
