I think you're right. I am sure it was a windy day blowing from the West End and he had launched a few that made it all the way to our goal before he scored. I don't think Avramovic payed for us again after thatI seem to vaguely remember going as a kid and watching the Watford goalie score directly against him (I think)
As soon as Stevenson is announced officially il be happy. We cant/wont surely no matter what 3rd or 4th offer comes in (unless hes loaned back)?
Sell Bayliss as well that would be suicide!
Added incentive next year if we get promoted he may stay. and his value will only go up as and when he performs in league one.I'd expect him to sign a new 4 year deal in the coming weeks... hoping anyway.
Cant they just do it all for 8pm, Ive got an early start tomorrow

Not anymoreWhat's the situation with JCH at Rotherham? Is he not getting a game?
Forest Green as wellExeter 0-0 ht
Transfer Deadline day thread, I'm hoping we sign a keeper. How did all this Burge stuff get mixed up in this thread, for the record his kicknig last night was shit, for a player not under pressure not to be able to kick the ball in the general direction of the pitch is shocking, you only had to see the reaction of his team mates to know it's an issue. When the team were quite clearly feeling it after Saturday you look to your keeper to clear it long and give the defence a bit of respite. Now on to more pressing matters has anybody signed/left yet ?
I'm being Harsh! yes I want the bloke to improve his kicking and his general communication with back 4! hes not a s bad as I make out yes agreed! hes knocking on 100 pro appearances for us.
Sorry Rant over. Wish we could afford better. And yes I wouldn't have minded bringing in an experienced keeper.
For Eg. Their Keeper Forde, 25 international caps. Good Decent keeper hes 38. He was simply superb against us when we played at Cambridge. MOTM when they beat us 2-1. We had about 10 plus shots on target that match!
I always prefer an experienced keeper over a young one.
Exeter 0-0 ht
Mention of De Gea best there is when it comes to saves stops 5 out of ever 6 shots on target.
wasn't this the cancelled aborted match at half time when Exeter were 1 nil up? flooded pitch.forgot that game was on! Good result so far.
You forgot about the one on Tuesday? Hit it straight to a Cambridge player who was about 25 yards out from goal. That could have easily ended up with us conceding.Disagree. His kicking at times put us under pressure, but I think if we concede from that, you’d have to blame the outfielders if anything came of it. Nothing really came of any of his miskicks nor were they in dangerous positions.
Contrast that with Cambridge’s GK, who got tackled by McNulty because he was trying to be a smart arse on the ball...
First half. Exeter 3 shots (none on target) Forest Green 13 shots (2 on target). Away win in prospect?Forest Green as well
But every time he kicks it straight into touch he is giving the ball back to the opposition. If any outfield player kept kicking it out of play we'd all be over them like a rash and the problem is if he keeps doing it defenders are going to be less likely to pass the ball back to him and if they don't that, that is then putting more pressure on us and opposing teams will target this weakness. For the benefit of those who haven't seen the Cech mistake last night that I mentioned:
Keepers make mistakes. More so at our level. People seem to forget that.
It's the other end of the pitch we need to worry about.
forgot that game was on! Good result so far.
Yes it was Steve Sherwood who scored.
I wasn't aware of that. They'll be mightily unhappy if they don't get a win then.wasn't this the cancelled aborted match at half time when Exeter were 1 nil up? flooded pitch.
In fairness on that pitch most players would struggle hitting the ball first time under pressureIt only seems to be when he has the ball played back to him and he kicks it first time. If he takes a touch or from a dead ball he's not quite as bad. Made me tense up every time the ball was played back to him last night.
What makes me smirk is who at DCFC thought it was acceptable to attempt to prise one of the most talented players in years away from a club challenging for promotion on the very last day of the window with no time to respond? It’s simply barmy and suggests that the contact may not of been that firm after all and was more of a what’s there threshold? (50,000k, £150,000?£250,000?)
It’s fucking potty to even think unless you needed a short term cash njection you would sell at this time of the deadline day. Why wait till the last minute to even make an offer?

neither played?Yesterday I was trying to name both Forest and Spurs teams from the 1991 FA Cup final (a random quiz question at work) and got mixed up between Tim Sherwood and Steve Sutton. And now you post this.
Turned out it was Mark Crossley anyway.

They'll be knackeredI wasn't aware of that. They'll be mightily unhappy if they don't get a win then.
Sounds like Rovers are all over them.
Tricky game coming up Saturday.
Forgot about your Rotherham link..... haven't forgot about the day you said Mowbray had agreed to go there either
