Do you really want me to dig up quotes? What was your name before you became an Italian General again?
We did know things about Sisu, some of us posted those things, some chose to ignore them or say that they were exactly the sort of hard-hiotting businesspeople we needed to run the club.
Anyway, if you did know nothing about them, why would you give them their full support?
Make any big donations to that mob yesterday did you?
Whilst I never liked, trusted, or agreed with many, if not most of the decisions made by Sisu/Ranson I never stopped supporting the team.
Anyway, fuck off and go and support Coventry United or whoever, sure they will welcome youir wholehearted support until you don't like something they do, then you can fuck off to another team
Yes I'd like you to dig some out. You knew nothing of SISU, nobody did. You can pretend you did - and that you knew all of this was coming, but it's a load of rubbish.
I support CCFC because I'm from Cov and because my family support them. My overwhelming feeling though is that we need to rip our club back out of SISU's grip.

To be fair, Lord was I recall one of the ones warning against the blind acceptance of Sisu at the time.
To be fair, if you say everything is shit and dodgy, you can't really claim credit when it turns out shit and dodgy.
Not accepting anything is as bad as accepting everything, it's the same "broken clock is right twice a day" reasoning when you crow that you were right all along.
I think most were willing to give it a go and I think most were happy in the first season or so. As has been discussed to death, at some point in the first year the plans changed and that started a long history of the fans not being told what the club's aims were.
I'd still stand behind Sisu if they were doing things for the fans/club, football fans are amoral like that, but their actions recently have been a noticeable shift and nothing to do with their status as a hedge fund. They also are led by people who weren't at the club on day 1.
I maintain that if they had actually been open and honest and consulted with fans and taken us with them there wouldn't be half the trouble there is now. It's the division and secrecy that made a lot of people lose trust.
Not sure I've ever seen that to be honest, outside of the Sixfields boycott, which is understandable as it requires collective action to be useful.
I don't say everything is shit and dodgy though, just things that are shit and dodgy, not going to be blamed for other peoples failure to work things out for themselves.
Fair enough. I obviously forget all your optimistic posts
12-0 after 35 minutes?
Ref has finished the game. Full Time Coventry United 28-0 Polesworth

@covmartin: So that explains the Coventry Utd 28-0 win. Polesworth started with 10 men and had a centre back partnership with a combined age of 97!

I don't post anything on here much anymore. The first reason is that it's doom and gloom everyday when it comes to CCFC news. I got sick to death of treading over the same old ground and the constant belittling of people's opinion by the usual suspects.
This season I have become involved with Coventry Sphinx as match day secretary. The reason I wanted to get involved is simple; they are an established Coventry club still playing in Coventry.
Overall attendances have gone up for Sphinx this season because of Sisu's decision to move the sky blues to Northampton. A lot of people just want to watch a local Coventry team playing in the City. Some of the people who come to Sphinx games had City season tickets for thirty or forty years. These people, along with myself, still want the sky blues to do well and we are all desperate for the club to return to Coventry ASAP.
On a personal note, I decided to stop going to Coventry games the season before we moved to Northampton. I refused to line the pockets of all the culprable parties involved, particularly Sisu. I attribute a majority of the mismanagement firmly at their door and it's downright criminal that the league let them continue to mismanage the club.
