Paxman, what about this for an idea. On 13 oct there could be simultaneous events - the media loved legends day cos they could cut between Northampton and the ricoh. so on 13 oct kcic will organise the Hill side of things but how about you and the others on here who want to be more critical of acl organising something on that theme in cov. The danger I guess would be appearing to be divided and sending out a very muddled message. but if it was tied to maybe launching the kcic campaign for an Independent Inquiry to bring all parties and individuals to account might it work?
Forget critical of whoever, it's actually not a bad idea to have simultaneous events.
The danger isn't the message being muddled however, the message could be stronger if different groups in different areas, but all with the same message. The danger is the numbers end up diluted everywhere, so it looks like apathy all the more.
What about 'Hillcam'... a live broadcast of the hill shown on the Big screen in Coventry surely the Trust could find some media types who could do this as a one off.

Can I suggest any protest should not affect the team? Pressley has worked a total miracle- I was there on Sunday despite misgivings- and this young team he is building is superb. A promoted CCFC would have to return to the Ricoh - the gates would be too big. Maybe Sisu would find a way to go if we were promoted.
This team can do it, believe me. The best City team for many, many years deserves to be left to get on with its job. Our dispute is with the charlatans at Sisu and not with these fantastic young players and their inspirational manager.
I would say that there are two things that are paramount, in this order:
- DO NOT affect the team.
- Get our message across.
I have been to Sixfields twice and I think the players are really benefitting from the positive atmosphere in there. No-one is getting on their backs which would happen instantly at the Ricoh. (This isn't a dig, it's just an observation) I don't think this team would have flourished as much as it has if we were at The Ricoh.
I would also say that whatever you do will have more impact if it's 'active'. Simply sitting down on a hill and singing is not interesting TV, I work in TV and it will not get any exposure.
Walking around the stadium for ninety minutes, playing a game of football on the hill, some sort of mass metaphorical phsycial drama, or even something as simple as people spelling out different messages with their bodies through out the game (ie. all lie down to spell, keep cov in cov, city til i die etc) will be interesting TV and would be something that a camera cannot ignore. People singing on a hill will be shown once, and perhaps when we score but it will not have any impact on the audience.
I think that a mass exodus at kick off is a great visual way of showing our discontent, by the way.
The clue to arranging a successful protest with a powerful message is the fact that this game in on TV...TeleVISION....VISION....its all about what the viewers can SEE !!!
Get it folks??
They can't SEE the hill if the camera decides not to show more than a fleeting glimpse
They can't SEE the hill when it gets dark in the 2nd half.
They can't SEE noise (wind direction depending) from a few whistles or loudspeakers or whatever.
They CAN SEE (and cannot avoid seeing) whatever is going on in the ground.....that's why Sky are there & that's what they'll be broadcasting....
