Discuss the Coventry v Walsall match, tactics and predictions
Time to play the SBT XI.
i will play upfront if no offside rule.
in all seriousness i would play
i wouldnt mind the majority of that first 11 being part of next seasons squad so good idea to play them
None of the loannees, no Tudgay, no Gad, no Foley - time to give the lads a run-out.
Despite relegation, I will be there to cheer on the boys; please join me in doing so. There have been rumours of unrest / trouble on the day but if there are protests I do hope they'll be legal, safe and tasteful and not disruptive.
I'll be there.
Been a ST holder since early 70's (apart from Sixfields) but not sure what to do next season. I cannot believe I am considering not renewing, but for the first time ever, this could be a reality.
I want to suppot CCFC and Robins but so pissed off with off-field stuff I'm asking myself if the 140 mile round trip is worth it. Sure, we are likely to secure a few victories against L2 teams (we need shafting if we don't), but if the sole purpose of any business is to break even, then that effectively means standstill at best.
I will be waiting to see what happens close season before making my mind up.
If Oggy is retiring get him registered and stick him on for the last 5 mins!
Nooo...Get some good Slade signings in!!!
I'm only joking with you calm down.... I'm struggling to be honest as so many are poor but if fit I'd go

bigi has been our best player for a month now. whats your reasoning behind dropping him? also whats point of playing reilly if he wont be here next season?
Reilly in purely as Stevenson got stretched off yesterday so i have him as very doubtful. As for Bigi, in the final he was excellent, but a few games recently he's gone off the boil again and sounded like it yesterday too. Goes missing to easily playing poor passes. Stepped up in the game last week tho in the 2nd half and broke up everything but he's to inconsistent. There's a player in him but he's got to do it more
he was good vs charlton. only game i seen since final.
Loads of injuries it seems
Reilly, Maycock, Stevenson all out.
Will Gadzev be back in?
Foley centre midfield, I haven't heard about any potential disruptions but if there is maybe the game won't finish
The Walsall manager seems to think there will be.
Me too, I know people want to keep it under wraps but does anyone know if something is planned?
as a paying customer i wouldnt care if game is abandoned due to protests
Could be a bizarre side tomorrow because of injuries, especially with plenty out of contract. Will those out of contract players declare themselves fit if not quite right when they need to be fit going into The summer ready for preseason to earn new deals at interested clubs. They won't want to aggravate injuries this close to the summer and leave themselves without a club come August.
they must have all been sold.
With things actually happening off the pitch now and offers being made surely getting the game abandoned would be beyond stupid.
why? new owners would say no due to protest? i doubt it
No because any points deduction would affect us with new owners if we were taken over or a fine could just mean it takes more money for them to leave.
hmmmm maybe. doubt we would get a pts deduction
No protests that disrupt the game, please. Bellowing, chanting etc... fine
What protests are planned?
Hope we get the game abandoned myself.
Best case we get a fine which affects the budget for the team and not the owners. I really don't get the logic of anyone that wants the game abandoned.
ST holder but will probably give this a miss tomorrow.
Baker is up for a pitch invasion.
U ok, dear?
I don't think the open letter to the supporters will help improve the mood of those supporters thinking of protests one bit. I think what Gary Hoffman told us on Stuart Linnell's programme tonight may in fact make the atmosphere inside the Ricoh very negative. Some fans will think that more vehement protests might be what's needed. Not a criticism of Hoffman, but I felt as though he's one of us and has been slapped down. Some will feel strongly about what he said.
Yeah just feel the need to stand with my ginger brethren.
Due to injuries I think we'll get a hammering :/
That little fella is going to run riot if he plays
The best case would be it gains national publicity on radio stations, papers and other news outlets
It's all a bit like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. Defeat looks inevitable but I would like to see the young guys get a game, tactics tried out in a competitive match and see what might happen.
What's the odds on someone moaning why Ponticelli ain't playing for the 1st team and given a chance when Tudgay is given a start this afternoon
