Max is annoying the fuck out of me on these counters, literally just running in a straight line, not creating space for himself or dragging opponents out of position to create space for others. Absolutely basic.

Excellent first half. We may regret not taking those chances of Watford improve (they couldn’t get worse) but they really don’t look like they fancy it.

Really good half from us should be ahead we really should

Max was great in league 2 effective in league 1 and not expected to play much part in the championship. Hope he gets his goal having said that and this particular role he’s the best of the available strikers to play it

Very good first half and the usual lack of finishing costs us. We are all over them. That probably means Watford will win 1-0.

He's done well can't be everywhere..played a massive part playing lone striker in the performance so far. Their defenders arnt enjoying him. O hare finding so much space in between midfield and their defence expect them to cut that out address that 2nd half.

We're a good striker away from being decent at this level.

Max just not quite up to it.

O'Hare and James have been excellent.

I don't think it's lack of effort I think it's lack of awareness.
I like Max and he's a trier but he's not at this level.
We won't be able to majorly overhaul our strike force in the summer if we stay up, hopefully bring in someone better than we've got and move Godden, Walker and Max down the pecking order with Max 4th choice.

Great first half from us but the lack of killer instinct is probably going to cost us. Can’t see Watford being as ineffective going forward in the second half.

Played well first half but again missing chances. Should be 2 or 3 up. Also they should've had a number of yellow cards and maybe even a red but ref hardly given anything. Osti dealing well with Deeney and Dacosta looking good.

But somehow I just know they'll reorganise at half time and be the better team second half and MR will do nothing to arrest that. (OK, he's not got many options).

Nailed on stupid pen given away that Deeney hammers done the middle as always and Marosi dives out the way, then Gray who arguably should be off gets another from a poor pass.

Cue Sky wanking themselves off in the analysis about how good Watford are.
