HMV too. I thought you meant the Highfield Road victory. I'd love a copy of that match!

Ask one of the 8000 who went next time you're at the Ricoh. I'm sure they all go every week.

Think it was more like 10,500 Torchy.

Goes to show the support is there if we give them something to get excited about.

God, I'd forgotten it was that many. Got nothing to do with excitement really, more to do with it being Man Utd.

I dunno... The huge attendance against Leeds last year when we were in the top 6 suggests it wouldn't take much.

I don't know I think it would have been the same if it was Liverpool etc.

Fact was that we had, had years of shite with no "glamorous" fixtures so a tie like this was always going to get large numbers going. Same with Chelsea at home.

Fair enough, everyone I know who went was a Cov fan although a few hadn't been up for years.

Hardly surprising that a trip to Old Trafford is going to get peoples interest going more that say Peterborough at home though is it? What does it matter anyway it made for an even better night and threw a few more quid in Cov's coffers.

Doubt the night would have been that good if there was only 400 staunch supporters in the top stand.

While you wait for the Carling Cup DVD, relive the old days here - http://youtu.be/pNBQvspXO6s

I was in the bottom of the Kop for this one. Most excellent.
