I am going for 1,809 and a historical mark in Cov City history lowest ever attendance would have said even less but think some of the cannot make my mind up fans might give it a go

No one in the right mind is rejoicing far from it hopefully this type of attendance will bring it home to these stubbon people weve got to get back to the Ricoh doble quick

If its under 2000 I will be happy. The longer we stay away the quicker the team will return to Coventry. Fingers crossed for a record low attendance.

You people keep saying that those not going are killing the club but sisu have "proven" to the FL that they have the funds to keep us running and fund a new stadium so we are only testing that theory

I would take anything the football league say with extream caution if I was you.

Colchester will bring about 150 won't they? Think it was a pretty low away turn out for them at the Ricoh last season

Think it will almost certainly be a record low for tomorrow

Wasn't it them that bought about 50 for a game one year?

Colchester barely scrapped 3000 at home when we played there last season. It's a 3ish hour drive or similar on the train (with a few change overs). So, I doubt they'll bring many. 150 would probably be optimistic.

Incidentally, I have to go back to Colchester tomorrow and I was considering blagging my way onto one of their coaches (cheaper than National Express or the Train).

to be fair, Colchester just reminds me of the words Coleslaw or Coldsore.

I don't think many are happy about this but as a fan who never had a choice in this decision many do not have sympathy towards the clubs owners...TF no matter what he says did not expect gates as low maybe he misunderstood the feeling among the majority and thought it was a few making noise....He is failing this club and taking it to a place not many on here would of ever seen or ever expected and while Coventry play in Northampton the next generation are being given no option other than to pick a prem team on tv to follow.

Sad to think we are at this point and no matter TF excuses or reasons nothing will gain support from the majority by he actions. So no rejoicing more sadness and reality many are doing other things other than travel miles to watch what has been in some cases a big part of there life.

I don't think Otium care too much if you go or not so do not see the relationship between that and getting them back in Coventry sooner? They will fund the 3 years away to reach a better goal. You can either go or not. It's your choice.
The only ones I have sympathy with are those that can't for a multitude of reasons (cost, transport, time) I also suspect some of those that can't go wish they could but have jumped on the protest train to help ease the feeling.

I don't believe that for a second, they clearly do care or why spend a few k, on full page adverts? it's also getting increasingly obvious there is no stadium being built and even if their was it's extremely dubious about that being a better goal.

Of course they care what a stupid comment so they would rather lose money then make it? one more market crash and they will disappear with nothing.....Are they a business or not or do they do it for the Love of CCFC?

And that 'better goal' is operation Brentford? You are having a laugh I presume?

Colchester average about 250 away, so I reckon 1800 or so. With a few hundred being free tickets.
Not sure what effect a Sunday will have though? Guess reduce the crowd if anything.

It is non league weekend where people are encouraged to support a local team that they wouldn't normally, maybe TF is expecting the good folk of northampton to turn out in force.

I can't even be arsed to protest now. Hope they win, I'll probably be doing some DIY. Just losing interest in footy altogether.

Jeez what a tedious thread......can we bar these tedious attendance posts or stick them in their own seperate part....who the f**k cares!!

If we have 1500 or less sku blue 1987 has one wank
If we have less then 1450 he has two?

We are kidding ourselves if we think non-attendance makes that much difference if people do not want to go and I am not going tomorrow than fair enough but this is a tedious thread. I would prefer to talk team, score, chance to get back into positive points but hey maybe I'm in a minority.....let's all discuss the attendance in a thread instead!!

And my friend this is the real Sisu legacy, 1000s more now just had enough even after they took gates below 10k. What hardcore support would we have left after 3 years or this crap....

Or how about ignoring the thread if its boring?
The fact is attendance is being watched closely by just about everyone associated with this club at the moment.
