Club said yesterday about 7500 tickets have been sold and seemed please with that, I suppose that includes season ticket holders and doesn't include the thousands Fleetwood will be bringing. My say is 8500, not brilliant.

8974.

And truth be told I don't blame anyone for not going, if I hadn't bought a season ticket I wouldn't be. Can it get any worse?

They told me in the shop that they'd sold just over 8K on Wenesday so I recon about 10K with tickets.

We'll never know for sure but I recon yesterdays news will have a negative effect on the cash turnstyles today. If it hasn't I recon it could be 12K ish

8k sold in advance is pretty decent. When it's cheap many do just pay on the gate.

Not many reasons to not turn up today..

Traditionally the lowest Saturday gate of the season across the FL.

We were going to go to the game and support the club but since there is new court action dragging out the pain and preventing the club moving forward, I think it'll wait until SISU leave.

Ah more excuses, get down and support the team, not sisu.

I was going to travel down from the North East to watch my beloved skyblues (50+ years a fan) but after I here more court cases that's it from me. NOPM from me while SISU are there.

I was going to get five boxes and fill them with playboy bunnies, not going to bother now the court case.

Plus it's too cold, nowhere to park, too expensive.

We should really as fans take advantage of the ticket offer and get down and maybe force the players into pulling their fingers out.

I'm doing the butts today none of the four or five I go with are going and haven't since Worcester.

Anything less than 15k will be a disappointment.

I've done my bit - I'm take +4 along who don't usually go. People can't complain about the price, we've picked up 11 points from the last 6 league games (4th in the form table).

I know I will be disappointed, and that will make tomorrow even more of a kick in the teeth.

Going to give that a like just based on doing a butt ;)

I'm going purely for the Social side ,mates doing the mid match music ,most of my work colleagues will be there so the equivalent of a

works do ,post match entertainment and then a Ska night up at the Albany club afterwards .Even my grandson won't be there today as he's

being dragged off to Reading to see the other side of the Family.:(

I bought 6 tickets yesterday and I was the only person in the shop - I did ask if they had been busy with tickets etc and they said yes they had been rushed off their feet all day. I think we will be looking at around 10,000 or 11,000 and 3 points to put us in the top half of the table before Christmas.

As for the 30,000 turning up on Sunday - I mentioned this in the Sky Blue Store too - they said "lets see how many turn up in January!"

Very wise words however I feel CCFC will come second in the attendance war for a while longer yet until the team can shake away the supporters apathy with some consistent results and performances.

What a bargain the Council have given Wasps - great stadium for the price of a top 100 Premiership footballer and they've also thrown in our sporting City heritage and 20,000 people willing to pay good money to go and watch a game of Rugby every other week - nice one!

I understand everyone being annoyed...... but SISU are in court battles not coventry city! today everyone should be down there especially after last weeks away win which was fantastic (2nd half only) and today you are supporting the club not the owners and thats what everyone needs to understand and focus on! Otherwise we will sell the family silver sooner than we probably would like to! also remember tickets sold do not include hospitality or away fans! Im sure one of the hospitality packages have sold out!

I heard that the new goalposts are extensible in the corners, and that if you wait on 5 minutes after the final whistle you will see the groundsmen pulling the posts up to form the rugger ones.

Should the council have not sold it when the only other option was Sisu attempting to drive the price down further to nothing ?
Sisu messed up and instead of building bridges are now continuing the battle with our landlords.

Are you not fed up with the continuing battles that Sisu are fighting?
Financed by CCFC apparently !!

I'm not fed up of watching my team though. Well in fact I am usually fed up by the end of every game when we are playing dog shit but when the next matchday comes it starts again, probably until 5 or 6 tonight when I come home in a mood ;)

But it has been like that as long as I can remember. If I wanted to just see winning all the time I'd support a "top class" team.

I'd kind of understand his decision if it was about committing to a season ticket, or cluster of match tickets, but it's absolute tosh for a 1 off match that cost £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 kids. Just go and watch a game of football.

Agree.
Looking forward to later for some reason. Expecting a big win, again
Getting there early for a drink in the casino. Alcohol helps me.
Winning means bed at 1am loosing means bed at 10pm.
Mind you might have an early night so I can ready for the big day tomorrow

If we don't get over ten then our fans really are a joke. As proved by our recent run of attendances people only want coventry in coventry if they are going to win games else they'll just find a reason not to turn up. Christmas or not its £10! How can the wasps (who every seems to despise so much) sell 28,000 yet we cant even draw 15 in at a cut price?!?!?

I don't think they should of sold it to a sporting franchise based outside of Coventry - No!

They should of simply held on to it - forever - they didn't have to sell no matter how hard Sisu were bleating.

I'm not sure why people are saying we should get 10 - 15K when it's a weekend when in general FL attendances are poor. We know from the past that a lower ticket prices doesn't lead to a huge jump and it's not like we're 10 games unbeaten or anything like that. If they get 10K they'll be doing very well in my opinion.
