Cup Cup Cup - What Cup (1 Viewer)

Im so happy that we are out of all 3 Feckin cups - a part of me thinks TM cleverly engineered our incredibly early exits so not to be distracted from a clear promotion drive.

Walsall have a fierce tie today and come up against their old managers new outfit - plenty of needle and effort expected so without a lot of recovery time they will probably be carrying injuries and knocks come Tuesday night.

Whereas we have given our players time to heal and prepare.

Clever guy TM

If Shrewsbury and Scunny both win tomorrow (not impossible) we will definitely have another weekend off soon and a 50/50 chance of another too. If Scunny get a draw then we won't know if we're playing until a week and a bit before. The games could mount up even without playing in the cups.

As a side note we went to Everton v D&R today (aimed for Accrington v Notts C but it was called off on route). Best bit of the whole game was when a cat spent several minutes on and around the pitch. Gotta love an animal invasion.

I'd love a day out at Wembley with the city but my blood pressure won't stand it if that is for the play-offs. JPT would have been great.

Always want us to win but didn't lose too much sleep over going out early in the other two cups.
