Nasal Nigel has been ringing in for years, I think he's had his 5 mins of fame and CWR shouldn't keep giving him the air time. It's boring stuff.

A lot of these people ringing don't have anything worth while to say, they just like hearing their own voice.

love the way they continually bang on about inviting callers,
c & w put a total of 3 on air on friday, in an hour, nina on travel, zzzzzz, was on air 4 times,
& on saturday a total of 5 put on air,
? why invite calls when they clearly restrict persons wishing to express an opinion,
c & w could do with a much lengthier prog where we actually can listen to CCFC fans,
i appreciate there are a few predictable regulars,
but, if more persons were allowed a voice ?????

You get far better opinions and more eloquent speakers, when they stop & interview people going to the game.

A fair few of those so called regular caller are just attention seekers and have very little to say.

I suggest CWR change their format, don't allow the same dross to keep ringing in, instead get out and around the ground and interview people going to and leaving the ground.

Agree with would make far more sense to speak to leaving fans.

Not being at yesterday's game, I listened in driving back from a meeting with Mrs Mungo. She was astonished at the quality of fare. People who know less about football than I know about open-heart surgery, the pissed-up and the unclean. All this interspersed by Mr Roy Palin himself proffering wisdom from the comfort of his Enrico Manchatini (made up name, don't Google it) cashmere roll-top sweater.

She couldn't understand how this manifested itself under the banner of entertainment or a factual exchange of considered views. I can't either. It's frankly poor. Very poor

The solution is we have to bombard them with calls. The more calls they get, the more diverse the opinions and they'll see it as popular and maybe extend it.

How is our previous manager getting on these days? Hope the pastry business is going well.

He's taking time off and applying for jobs, just like Robins did I guess.

Pastry's good thanks. How's your Mystic Meg business going? I should imagine there's quite a demand in your powers of prediction after you dismissed McGoldrick as a waste of a loan...

Maybe he knows you can't judge someone over 3 league matches.

Draw at home to Sheff UTD - acceptable
Draw away to Yeovil first game if season - now seems acceptable.
Sacked for poor draw to Bury at home.

I am of the opinion I never got to find out if Thorn was shit or not.

I am not stupid enough to say I can judge him over that.

Haven't heard Linell but if he opinion is along the lines if this was the season to really judge AT and 3 games was not enough I am with him.

Disclaimer ( I rate Robins. I do not feel I could judge AT last season as the board seemed to accept relegation. The sacking of Bryan Gunn after one game can be compared to numerous managers who had a not great first three games, were not sacked and went on to have a good season. Speculation of ill discipline has stayed as just that speculation. Why has he not got another job yet? His CV does not look great does it)

However once it was clear in January that we were facing a relegation battle and the board decided it would be a good idea to sell our top striker for 750k and not replace him.

I do think Robins would have walked away in order to protect his own reputation as he has done before.

Robins wouldn't have tried to dit back on 1 nil leads all season long.

He saw last min goals problem and looked to rectify that asap too

Lil things that would have grabbed us 5-6 pts extra for sure

I don't hate thorn. He was dealt a bad hand. But he was not good enough either. Coupled together got us relegated

If he'd stayed manager in league 1 I could see us top 10 and pushing for promitiontho so I agree we shudnt judge him in league 1

We were going to get relegated regardless of whether Juke stayed or not (aloud hit killed off any chance we had) and had he been a CCFC player in the summer, he would've went for peanuts, so it was a case of cashing in early.

Oh, and it was 1.3m, not 750k.

If you're going to be high-handed in response; at least be sufficiently learned to get your queues right...

Cue was the right word to use because my post was going to 'cue' a response, not queue!

When correcting someone make sure you actually correct them, instead of getting it wrong, it helps.
