I thought the fan of the week was reasonable, TBH. He was strongly anti-SISU, just didn't want to boycott the Southampton game, but said those that wished to were entitled to do so. That's fair enough. I understand that he can't quite bring himself to not support the team, no matter how much he dislikes the owners. I am going to boycott as I feel strongly enough to make the sacrifice of missing this one. That doesn't make me any less of a fan either, though!

Everyone has their right to do as they please and Jack, nobody should be able to tell you that you can't go if that's your desire.

However, what irks me most about the "I'll support my team whoever is in charge" argument is that people seem unable of seeing the bigger picture. It is my opinion and clearly that of others too, that with this lot in charge we may be forced to miss all future games since there is a real possibility that we may not have a club to attend and our choice removed.

Yes it will likely make little difference to the outcome if we boycott the Saints game, but it might and we have to try. We simply must show that we won't roll over without a fight. Football is all about passion and emotion, they're killing it little by little and as fans we need to demonstrate that the club is ours whoever is in charge and that together we can make a difference. For this a united stand is essential. I see missing this match as part of short term loss in return for long term gain.

Why shouldn't they? It shows their loyalty and their continued loyalty to the team they support. I know you don't give "two shits" for their loyalty and support, but there you go.

I think it is an area that should be explored.

There are two sides to every story. Those who attend may very well be viewing a bigger picture, just a different one to yourself.

I don't think there's anything particularly controversial about wanting to financially support the club which is still just one tier away from the Premiership. If we could fill this ground out every week, then the chances of success and a club sale would increase dramatically. So I'd rather help keep the club afloat than set a ticking time bomb under it with nothing more than a hope that a white knight rides in to rescue it.

if people want to still go then fair enough i wont judge them, i even know 1 or 2 of my mates that go no matter what so will be there and fair play to them.

im just fed up of sisu not investing and tightening the purse strings more each season as we gradually decay and im sick of it, if sisu had signed 2 or 3 on loan and looked like they gave a shit about keeping us up then we wouldnt be calling for a boycott but sisu need to learn that if they wont invest in us then in the end we will stop investing in them.

whats gonna happen when we go down and lose £2-3 million turnover aswell as 5-6000 off the average crowd?? if their intention is to break even then we will have a youth team for a squad next season, they have already knocked 5000 off our crowd since they arrived 4 years ago, when will it end??

it wont until they are out nof our football club and the sooner the better.

Crowds have already dwindled, and SISU have already racked up a ton of debts...and despite this they are looking for investment, not a sale of the club - which implies they can continue running the show. No sisu are the ones who will hurt they are the ones who recieve the revenue from cup games and that will hurt sisu as they are skint

Agreed. SISU should have done one of two things:

They've done neither and that's their fault. I'm just concerned that a siege strategy will hurt us more than it hurts them.

We cannot be hurt much more,TBH I think we are on the point of no return, can anyone trust sisu, unlikely , so who would join with them to fund us, so it is time to stand up as we are in a sh*t or bust situation, unlesss we are bought out, now if I were a buyer i think I would let us sink to our lowest point to get the lowest price,

that will hurt sisu

The problem here is that it doesn't necessarily boost our chances of being sold. Investors tend to want a vehicle with potential, not a complete refurbishment job as City would be (big liability, low attendances, no stadium, few playing assets, League 1, etc). SISU themselves preferred to get the club before it hit administration.

I've been going up since the 60's.

We do however need to put aside our true passion for 5 minutes. This is all about our future and remember, you won't be able to go up at all if we no longer have a club will you. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I am totally in support of any boycott. Short term pain for long term gain.

These owners do not care about us. That is abundantly clear. We will go down and then go down again and then go down again and then we will be complete non-entities swimmingly pointlessly around the non-leagues.

We need to look at the bigger picture and I feel do whatever it takes to secure the long term future of this club.

I feel quite saddened that we can't be all together on this. If a boycott doesn't work ........ nothing is going to work and we are stuck with this board for god's knows how long.

Otis and Brinner are right people.

Imagine what the team will be next season under SISU. This season they have refused to compete in this division.

They can't get near to break-even in the Championship - and that's WITH half a team of academy players. With massively reduced income in League 1 the team will need to be ENTIRELY academy players and that STILL won't achieve break-even.

Do you know what that means? ANOTHER relegation.

THEY ARE KILLING OUR CLUB.

The board have already told us they had to beg SISU not to cut their losses in the summer. Now WE can push them over the edge. Hoffman is waiting for them to throw in the towel and the sooner it happens the better.

This club has huge potential under owners willing to spend so force these idiots out.

DO NOT SIT BACK AND WATCH YOUR CLUB DIE.

You also say i feel so sorry for u all....that's a little patronising....we all care passionately for the club, its just that some fans see the clubs future in the hands of SISU, as being bleak in the extreme.
Do you want SISU to take CCFC back to the lower divisions they were in when you started supporting the club (1957/58...we were 19th in 3rd div south !), because that future seems very likely.

I was born the exact same year and had the same experience with my Dad taking me onto the Kop where i would get out my fold up stool to stand on

but it doesn't make my veiw any more important or right over someone who was born in say the 70s or any other time
