He must have said four or five times tonight that this level of crowd was to be expected ,as a non glamour round ,which will probably be the pr line from Sisu tommorrow ,however ,the home attendance against palace last season equated to roughly the number of STs sold then .If as predicted there are 4500-5000 home fens in the ground tommorow ,thats a drop of 4500 STholders in attendance so sorry Clive but that is a drop off in support of roughly 50% for a similar level match and is not the norm
Could not get on to the CWR site tonight for some reason, probably because I have a laptop which is powered by elastic bands! Could someone therefore please precise the phone-in?
I claimed earlier this week that this mug was overly pro-SISU and got slated for it...tonight proves (if any were needed) that this bloke will ALWAYS back the club's view point.
For me, his dismissive remarks over the West Ham ticket scandal was the final straw.
However, what do you expect, he isn't a CCFC fan...fair play to Geoff Foster, however, top bloke, tells it like it is and captures the mood of the fans.
The show is dying the death, its a cure for insomnia. Its become as controversial as a dead cat...never a genuine fan invited into the studio, just another yes man, feeble.whats the point anymore. The whole fanbase has moved on without them, sad thing is they still haven't realised it. edgy it is not.
I would normally say that some of the flack CWR and Eakin get is unfair but with the protest there does seem to be a bias towards the SISU / club and a playing down of any protest which seems at odds with the BBCs supposed neutral standpoint.
Never thought I'd say it but the CT is far more in tune with the feelings of the majority of fans. Whilst a lot of fans don't support the boycott and I respect their reasons, almost all fans want SISU gone and I can see no other way than to make our feelings known....CWR seem far too pre-occupied with not upsetting the powers that be.
