Odd calls. Great call from Neil asking for realism. Some oddball saying that players are worrying if they will be playing at Memorial Park or Whitley Common next season, so it is affecting them! Also someone saying JCH and Chaplin doesn't look like a partnership.
shipleys confidence looks shotAlso Doyle and Shipley should be the midfield pairing
What did he say?MR calling it right (as per concensus on here) from what I've heard on here/listened to. Hopefully he will get players to respond to it. Dujon Sterling taken off for his own good by the sound of it!
I'd have put andreu in there, even though he's attacking minded he would have been able to do more than Kelly today. Also Doyle and Shipley should be the midfield pairing
Said we should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored.
Said 3 mistakes led to their goals doesn't understand why we went so deep after the first goal we ended up giving them 3 points they never had to work for it.
Said teams were about even defence were better 2nd half will have to watch the video to see where we and wrong.
Also said if we had scored first their heads would have dropped and we would have won it, also understands the frustration of the fans watching.
Sorry never mentioned any thing about streetwise this week.
Could he have not told them not to be so deep or has he got a touch line ban?
All the goals came so quickly together, so maybe players didn't have time to adjust. It was clear he thought Sterling was out of sorts - but kept him on until half time as he didn't want to destroy him (not his actual words, but what he inferred!)
He could have told them this. He isn't locked away until the game is finished.
It does make you wonder why Mark Robins stands on the touchline, every time we see a performance like today he doesn't do anything to change it, he might as well be sitting in the stands.I know what you mean, as I said during the game (didn't go today) it was if the defence/team went into shock. I do think with a defence/team, if one (or more) players lose their position it affects the whole team. Like I say, I wasn't there, but it does sound as if Sterling imploded, and with others not at their best, as is often stated - you are as strong as your weakest link. If players have individual mares in a short period of time, can a manager do much to prevent it in game time?
Amazing how he got so little credit for beating oxford and Barnsley and all of a sudden, lose and it’s his fault
All good managers have a plan B when the formation is not working and not leave it to late to make the changes.Amazing how he got so little credit for beating oxford and Barnsley and all of a sudden, lose and it’s his fault
Amazing how you never, ever make a point or discuss things..

You keep saying this. My point is he out thought the oxford and Barnsley manager and got very little credit.
It was less than 60 into the game today before your first negative post, not sure why you bother
He believes in his game plan. That’s what won us the game v oxford
I am not sure if you missed it but we were losing in quite a bad way?
Were we a goal down against either of those? We were chasing the game? What changes did he make that impacted the game and changed it?

Nick, your the custodian of pretty much the premium ccfc fan chat site. The majority of the time I have supported ccfc (like most of us) we have been poor. Constantly having a go at the team and individual players during each match day thread isn’t going to help with that.
“Hoooof” isn’t a point, it’s a comment on a goal kick from a league one keeper.
Having a go at me for being more positive isn’t going to change the result. Feel feee to do so if it makes you feel better though
Amazing how he got so little credit for beating oxford and Barnsley and all of a sudden, lose and it’s his fault
No, Hoof isn't making a point. It is commenting on what I am watching at the time, the same as "burge kicks it out" isn't making a point either. Where have I said it is a point? It's completely different saying "hoof" as opposed to:
I'm not having a go at you for being "more positive", I am explaining how you don't actually make points but then go on at people for being pissed off that we are 3-0 down because we beat a completely different team in completely different circumstances. You don't disprove people, you try to be cocky and clever and it rarely works.
Putting your fingers in your ears when people point things out isn't going to do much is it? Even more so when it is as if you are watching something completely different to everybody else.
Who said he didn't tell themHe could have told them this. He isn't locked away until the game is finished.
Who said he didn't tell them
He did put another striker on and and more creative midfielder ( supposedly) and changed a defender. .. to be fair I think he is one of those managers that believes he has done all his prep work in the week & shouting on the touch line isn’t his thing. That doesn’t mean he didn’t change things, either by spoken instruction, subtle formation changes or with subs. Even he best managers and best teams lose despite all ththe aboveIf he did, why didn't they listen to him? It's all well and good him passing the buck and singling individuals out but he didn't really do anything to try to get us back into it.
All like for like rly. Never goes all out 4 a goalHe did put another striker on and and more creative midfielder ( supposedly) and changed a defender. .. to be fair I think he is one of those managers that believes he has done all his prep work in the week & shouting on the touch line isn’t his thing. Bit too late to change striker wasn't it? Even then it was like for like rather than taking somebody in midfield or defence off for a striker to go for it.He did put another striker on and and more creative midfielder ( supposedly) and changed a defender. .. to be fair I think he is one of those managers that believes he has done all his prep work in the week & shouting on the touch line isn’t his thing. Robins looked hopeless today, didn't say a word to the team until the 3rd went in, then spent time telling fans to shut up for showing their displeasure.
3-0 down after 20 mins, it's pissing down on the fans and the manager standing looking clueless on the side with his hands in his pockets, no wonder some fans were pissed and showing it.
