Not sure if anybody has seen but he's been posting up some of the abuse he gets.

I haven't even posted one of them he has.

For this day and age it's shocking, I hope he manages to find out who they are and that they get put into hospital and then arrested / punished for it and the little twats get to share cells with people of different races to see what they think about it.

With social media I can understand if a team loses a game then the players might get some stick for the performance but where does that come into the thought process?

As I'm a bit younger I probably find this more alien than people who are older who saw it happen back in the day, the main thing I dont get is why somebody would take the time to post stuff like that?

I agree with both of you @Otis and @Nick I don’t care if this is online or in real life, it’s absolutely disgusting and can have an extremely damaging affect on someone.
Social Media sites like Twitter should do more to identify the cowards tweeting filth like this, they have the ability to do it. IP addresses should be sent to the police as I bet this won’t be the first or last time he’s done it. This is beyond the realms of football, it’s a social problem. Some little virgin sat in his room getting a kick out of trolling or abusing people.

Idea, purely for debate, how would people feel if Twitter forced all users to ‘verify’ their account, where you have to send in a photo of yourself and have a legitimate email account that’s been active for over 6months? Twitter can be a great tool but sadly a minority use it for disgusting behaviour like this. I hope they catch the coward.

Bloody hell, I couldn't believe what I was reading.

The internet is a great thing, but sadly allows utter fucking pricks like that to hide behind their keyboards abusing people like Cyrus for the colour of his skin, or for some other absolute idiotic reason. It makes my blood boil.

Thank goodness, I see that the keyboard warrior has had his account suspended by twitter, and the Met are looking into it. Hope they get caught and suffer the consequences.

Police can request IPs from Twitter if they want to, been that way for ages.

Online hate speech is the stupidest thing ever. It’s all recorded and tracked and easily discovered (barring serious attempts to hide which I doubt many do). Should be like shooting fish in a barrel. If they can get that guy who said he’d blow up Robin Hood Airport, they can get anyone.
