very true observation about the front two playing too far apart. They didn't operate as a striking partnership at all.

Did Bell do anything at all to justify a contract until 2015? He is NOT the answer.

Well I think we are all beginning to believe that. Manager after manager has come out and said what a good player he is. He simply hasn't shown that though. Another Freddie on our hands I think. You never know what you're going to get and too often he flatters to deceive. He'll be brilliant one game and then disappear for the next 3.

Ohh dear. What can you say. Was really hoping we would see a new David Bell this season.

Only one game in of course but this was the same old David Bell. Think I counted 4 times where he was caught in possession. He was slow sluggish and had very little impact on the game apart from that one cracking long shot in the first half.

Very disappointed with him today and we cannot afford him to go into hiding yet again. Think there is only one player who is more frustrating than Bell and that is Freddie Eastwood. Both players have bags of skill and all the attributes to be decent footballers. They both let themselves down badly at times.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. If I was AT I would be giving him a big kick up the jacksy. Very disappointing.

Clingan gave the ball away more than Bell and although agree he is no hare he put a couple of sublime crosses in that had we had more than one person in the box would have probably created goals

Clingan did give the ball away cheaply too. I had indeed noticed that.

We just know that David Bell is better than what we saw yesterday. And how games can we throw that label at him? He frustrates the hell out you because we know he is capable of so much more!

Remember he didn't play against Norwich! Fitness may come into it also don't think he's played with Gael before and we went down to 10 men which ruined the midfield IMO Leicester copped better than we did in there midfield!

Perhaps we should get behind the players, being as they are the only ones we've got! I thought everyone did well in difficult circumstances. Sheff hasn't played up front for years, we lost a midfielder to a red card and everyone worked very hard, giving their all for the shirt. We can't ask anymore than that. I thought belly was one of the bright sparks in the first half, must of watched a different game.

Don't see how Clingan, Bell and young Gael can operate in the same midfield, too similar

Good point. they are all similar types of player. Lets cross our fingers that Deegan gets fit because it's that type of player we need alongside these kind of players.

So, did we miss Gunnar more than we thought we would?
