Former England goalkeeper talks about his plans when he retires
David James has revealed he would like to go into management but not before he sets up a goalkeeping school.
The 40-year-old has enjoyed an illustrious and elongated career between the sticks.
However, he is now making plans to move into the coaching and management side of the game for when he eventually calls time on his playing career.
"I've done my Level Two badge, which is the first step for a professional," he told the Football Association's englandfans website.

"I'm planning on doing my Level Three this year and getting Level Four and the Pro Licence as soon as I can.
"Management is something I really want to do. As far as goalkeeping goes, I'm going to set up a goalkeeping school at some point in the near future.
"It will probably be in the south west because I personally think there's a lot more that can be done to help goalkeepers, English goalkeepers especially."
James was Fabio Capello's first choice keeper at the World Cup but since the football showpiece in South Africa, England's manager has appeared to have turned to his younger options.
Rivals
Joe Hart, Ben Foster and Robert Green now seem to be Capello's chosen custodians after James signed for Championship side Bristol City this summer.
But he is still hopeful of adding to his 54 international caps.
He added: "I genuinely live in hope of course, and if I got 54 caps then I'd be hoping for a 55th.
"I would like to think that the goalkeepers in the squad are going to go on and do great stuff and have a nice battle because they are a good age, with six years between them."
