TLDR we’re signing UdogieI think if there is value in doing a deal today Doug will go for it but it has to the right one. He is a pragmatist and is, like Robins not going to make a rash purchase just because we are top 6. The player would have to improve on what we have, if he doesn't then what's the point of paying wages for the sake of having extra numbers. I would love to be able to strengthen this window and go again but the lack of movement in the Prem is having an adverse effect, the available loan players are not there. Sometimes it’s better to consolidate and see what happens, set your targets for the summer and do the business early. It’s great that fans are frustrated on deadline day because no one has been signed, for so long its been whos being sold to balance the books, shows how far we've come in a short time.

Personally I think we will have a better chance next season than this. We won't take the first 1/3 of the season hoping and waiting for our team to gel. We could get off on a flyer.
