I think our defense is mostly there, maybe 1 other addition, so we need a coach in from the start to make sure they are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Defensive Coach? Adi Viveash was a defender and reading interviews with him he implements drills in training that replicates what the opposition will do in the coming game?

I’m pretty relaxed about the fact the new coach or coaches are not yet on board. The first few weeks of pre season are all about fitness and conditioning and introducing the new boys to the squad ….. if we get to mid July and we are still waiting then I agree that’s not ideal.

Ultimately we are seeking to appoint them for a number of years so the critical aspect is their quality rather than whether they join us for day 1 of pre season.

Employing someone is easy. Getting the right fit is more difficult.

You can either build infrastructure or you can throw it together.
