Anyone else getting the vibes that this pre season is exactly the same as last year, expected player arrivals not happening as quick as Robins likes etc..
We will have the same old players have to learn to play together after a slow start, which we can't afford if we are going to mount a promotion push..

And don't start on the kit shambles...

Wished we had a couple more but we're not in the same position as last year, we've got a competitive first 11 if the season kicked off tomorrow

No as we can name a pretty strong 11 already who mostly were here last year

I’m a bit lost, if the kits are out Saturday with a major sponsor how can that be seen in anyway as a shambles. On the player note, we are going to have a much lower turnover of players with the majority already at the club and had a year to settle. Very optimistic about this season atm.

This must be a wind up post. 7 weeks left in the window.

Quite the opposite in my opinion. The players know each other now and will hit the ground running this time round. Last season it took an age for the players to learn about each others styles and play. Plus we had Torp come in cold and getting a full pre season

We’re only needing to bulk up the squad rather than replace any key first team players. We’ve got Raphael, EMC10, Rudoni as new players in (not counting Binks).

A new GK, CB, RB/LB, CM and striker and we’re good to go.

Exiting times.

If you look at how many signings other clubs have made, we are in the top 5, to add to that EMC is practically a new signing!

Christ!

Are we bed wetting in early July ?

We have 3 new players plus Binks and only lost O'Hare and you think we are in trouble ‍‍

Windows only just opened, 3 players signed and the kit rumoured to be out this weekend. Yeah I think it's just you pal.

Sure, we haven't got everyone we've been after if you read into it but I'm more than certain we have adequate options to fall back on.

Kit shambles …

How does not releasing a kit by 8th July warrant being described as a shambles ?

Especially as the club are (if it is as appears) working on a new shirt sponsorship which in turn gives us more money ?

No, for one we started off last season with 3-5-2 without a hamer replacement. Stuck to it until October/November then switched to 4-3-3/ 4-2-3-1.

We will carry on the momentum from last year with fresh new signings to add to the team and will be stronger. So no, it's not Deja vu.

16/1 to win this league is a steal. I can’t see a better and balanced squad so far in the Championship.

I think we could possibly be in one of the most positive situations as a club I can remember…..
Top Manager still in situ
Record ST sales
A capable squad already in place
The ground situation stable for now
The pitch in perfect nick
The training ground vastly improved
For Cov City this is as good as it gets

Time to start rioting.

I would say Stevenage away in the friendly is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate frustration against the club.

I suggest waiting until the final whistle when we've inevitably drew/lost.

Maximum rage.

It's the way the market works. I think both Forest and Southampton got promoted after slow starts?
