Disagree. If I’m an Arab Sheikh looking for an ego boost I’d love the opportunity to build a stadium in my image. Also any new owner would have us back in the Ricoh in no time without all the legal bollocks getting in the way.
I think the bigger issue is our owners don’t want to sell.
Shimee thats a very one sided view. Recent revealings have shown that its the council and wasps who are making demands that would see the club financially unable to survive.
granted previous years when all this mess started I would agree 100% with you but not now and having new owners I dont think would change anything with regards the ground and long term future whilst we have this council and wasps

I agree but a rich enough owner similar to the type at Man City or as it looks now Derby would surely just buy out what seems to be struggling business such as Wasps

For £50m? Why bother when there are plenty of clubs in the Championship with their own stadium not attached to a rugby club saddled with a finance bond
Of course. But to a certain type of owner buying us as an ego boost a new ground isn’t a hard sell.
We all want 100% ownership and could have had it years ago if our owners could stick to a strategy and had started planning for building before the rent strike. I’m not sure what crying over that particular spilt milk helps when talking about new owners. FWIW I happen to think right now if we aren’t going to get some Arab or Russian or Chinese person to splurge millions for no reason, Sisu are probably as good as it gets (as in running us on a budget). Assuming they actually have a route out of the current mess with the ground.
Never seems to happen though. I mean, I never understand why they don't buy someone like... Plymouth (decent support-base, OK ground, cheap to buy, potential to do something unique) and build them up, rather than ready-made, but they never do.
So maybe when they're completely safe and financial secure, the fa can give them the points deduction they deserve ! Wonder what pull dcfc have at the fa, hmmmmmmm!
