Just when you though it couldn't get any more petty, you get unfollowed by the @Coventry_City twitter account
SG blocked from the Cov City twitter site .

Who cares? He got unfollowed on Twitter.

It's people like Andy Turner and Andy Poole I feel sorry for, it's their jobs that have been damaged because he wants to act a dick.

If he's just been unfollowed, it means whoever logs in to the Cov account doesn't have to read Gilbert being snarky about them so is about a Channel 5 level of drama.

Their Jobs are getting damaged because the paper they work for had the balls to make a stance against our owners. It was a risky move, for a local paper.
Our owners are now acting like Donald Trump in response. Which as much as I find it pathetic, the bosses at the CET must have known it would be the likely response.
It is a shame for a lot of the employees at the CET who deal with the football side.
It is a bigger shame for the club as we need the press as much as we can get. We would have been better allowing the sports journalists to still have access.

What do you mean a lot of them who deal with it? There are 3 or 4 articles a week from Andy Turner and the rest is now done by cheap content writers who just copy and paste.

Exactly. It's nothing, no idea why Bob's made a thread about it anyway. He won't even see most of the replies.

Shame they didn't have the same level of balls in 2003, 2007 and finally in 2014/5 when the scum turned up.

The only press the CET give the club is negative.

The Simon Gilbert bit he can hardly be surprised he keeps having clashes in twitter with the CCFC head of comma.
However the bit between the CET and the club that is affecting the other sports journalists totally undeserved for them.

Best compromise on paper. Problem is, the paper employs them, so I bet the questions would be loaded towards the paper's overall agenda if they were (note, I'm not saying whether the paper's agenda is appropriate or not).

Problem is, as soon as the Telegraph started that petition, the club had to ban them really, just for the ritual if nothing else. Did expect the ban to have been lifted by now, mind, just because the club had made their point. Guess that would depend on the Telegraph not plugging that as a 'victory' however.

Wasps media whore!
Love it.
Yet I can't name any of their players, say where they are in the league or say who they are playing next.
And yes Nick I can name ours and know who we are playing on Sunday.
Just because I can't be arsed to hate them because they actually did what SISU have been playing at for years. The way they go about their business impresses me, I have to admit that.

The CET this week ran a story on the ghost of Dion Dublin's dog...

Why would you want them to report anything on our club??

They should run a story on the ghost of real sports reporters like Neville Foulger. Now we have journalists who like to talk to former players about feaces eating.

What Fisher has done is virtually instigated a news black out. Clever move really at perhaps the most crucial time In our history When do we get any proper news from the club ? Please don't refer to that Observer rag half of Coventry don't get it.

Maybe not but they have proper CCFC news in it. Broke the news about Slade/Robins, interviews with the manager, etc.

You must be interested in former players' ex-dogs.
