Did Fisher throw down the Gauntlet ?, also (1 Viewer)

In an earlier thread I said Fisher should be targeted and removed as chairman of our football club and I stand by that, in my view he's a busted flush here and will never be trusted, however listening back to some of his answers both this morning on Talk Sport and tonight on CWR he said a number of times he didn't work for sisu and the football club was seperate to sisu, also said he hadn't received any payment for eighteen months. When pressed on figures such as this 70million allegedly put into the club by sisu he more or less agreed they wouldn't get that back but never said the club was not for sale in fact did say they could hang around until an offer came in but also said he doesn't see a queue to buy us, but who wants or needs a queue ?

We have rumours bounding about that there are people in the background sniffing around, if there is he will know so was he hinting to any interested party to come out of the woodwork and show their hand ? or is it wishful thinking perhaps on my behalf.

...it's like I buy a 10 bed country manor for £100,000 in a state of disrepair. Done up it's worth £1,000,000 but I only have £20,000 to spend so I tart up the kitchen. Over the next 9 years the leaking roof continues to cave in and the house looks worse than it was when I bought it.
Someone offers you what you paid for it - £120,000 plus house price inflation. You and I might snap their hand off to get rid of it, but SISU say it's worth £1,000,000.

Someone with more money than sense might come in - especially if it's on top of an oilfield.

We are Coventry City, we can't afford a gauntlet.

Smug git doesn't give a fuck about the club. Neither does Joy or SISU. They are, slowly suffocating it.

They have no plan, no projection, no hope to offer the fans. Suggesting Coventry fans, probably one of the longest suffering in the country, as Glory hunters what a joke.

All we want is a club with a plan and a future. A bit of up front honesty. We don't expect miracles just hope.

But it will be waffle for breakfast, dinner and tea from Fisher as long as he is here.

True. Fine us and give us a points deduction if we do it every game. SISU won't suffer. The Club will.

Anyway, that would lessen the impact of Thursday night.

Of course SISU will suffer. Their worthless 'asset' will become even more worthless.

No, they won't. We are self sufficient. SISU don't put money in and don't take it out. CCFC lives on income alone. Tell me what their "worthless asset" is? Coventry City? You want that to become even more worthless? You'll get off on that, will you?

I think the point was made and now new and more inventive demonstrations need to take place.

Keep invading the pitch and we will be deducted points for sure.
And the press will soon move from being supportive to our cause to labelling us as trouble makers for disrupting every match.

Or they may see it as good copy that sells papers and fills time on tv screens. Yes mix things up a bit but always keep it in your locker

I'm sure it will be good copy to sell thr papers regardless of whether they keep the anti sisu slant or start labelling our fans as trouble makers. Nothing sells newpapers more than bad news

For me that should be it, no more pitch invasions, unless you're happy to put yourself on the line for a football banning order and criminal record? Or are you just happy to encourage others to do that?

Suffolkskyblue is saying they should do it at every game, I guess he is sat on his sofa in Suffolk NOPMing...

Edit: apologies, didn't mean it to sound harsh. We were talking about what would happen if we invaded every game, I honestly think the press would turn.

As long as they deduct them this year that is fine and not during our promotion push from division 4 next season.

I didn't like the coffin one but I really enjoyed the whistles as it made an atmosphere as did the move to the front of the stand. The pitch invasion worked but would become an issue after a couple.

I reckon some of those laser projector things projecting anti sisu slogans on the the stands, though you'd doubtlessly get some half wit shining them in peoples eyes.

IMO SISU will only be seriously affected WHEN CCFC is sold, as at that point the investors loss will be realised. That's the point that their total mismanagement will be fully visible to their investors. Until then, they will only be bothered if they have to inject any funds.
Therefore, the club will continue to deteriorate until they walk away. So rather than us wait until we are a non league club.....is an alternative solution is to keep highlighting the bad investment of SISU, to current or potential investors in other SISU products. Perhaps, an advertisement in the Financial times via crowdfunding?
Just trying to find a way to hurt SISU rather than the club?

Yep. Most definitely.

Would say the best policy would to tell people TO shine them in people's faces.

Saying don't do it and it will probably end up worse.

If we keep getting relegated we will end up non league. If we get relegated this season we will only be 1 step away. We would then be totally valueless.

Yep, and if crowds get lower and lower then that will happen sooner rather than later. Unless we get some big teams in Cups and stuff. You'll have a job getting a ticket. ;)
