I'd like you to ask him about his thoughts on Jimmy Hill. Specifically, he has been praised for being a pioneer of modern football, fighting for the scrapping of salary caps, being part of the introduction of all seater stadiums etc. Did DB feel JH was a pioneer and was there something special going on?
Also, what's his view on JH introducing the Sky Blue Song.
Maybe even going back to the salary cap, what does he think about the wages players get nowadays.

He is a genuinely nice guy and you will enjoy the interview, maybe ask him his personal views on the plight of the club and if he ever imagined we would be in the third tier in his playing days?
Also ask him about some of the things he got up to as a player as in those days, they knew how to have a laugh and still be professional.
Maybe ask what changes did JH bring about behind the scenes when he arrived in things like training methods, tactics, general discipline.
I remember a radio interview with George Hudson a few years back which painted a less than favourable view of the way he was treated when JH told him he was to be sold, but of course you may not want to go there in this interview !

Bruck first played for us as a 17 year old in 1961, two years after we'd been promoted from the Fourth Division (in second place, four points behind Port Vale). He then played three seasons for us in the third tier before we got promoted to the Second Division in 1964. At that point City had spent the previous 12 years as a third division or below side. So, like everyone else, he probably thought of us as a third tier team.
It might be more interesting to ask him if he ever imagined we would soon be spending 34 years in Division 1.
Ask him if he remembers me. I bumped into him in the precinct in 1965. I said "Ain't you Dietmar Wassisname?" He looked down at me and said "On your way kid! You should be in school!"
Go on ask him!! He just might remember!
Bruck; solid and committed. Always gave 100%. Like others in that team played above his individual ability. I think it would be interesting to ask him about the buzz around the city and the club in those years
Ask if he ever feels like a plastic bag drifting through the wind wanting to start again. Or so paper thin like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?
