He's certainly undergone a radical transformation, he's not the moody niggly nasty twat that he was prone to be at the start of the season. Whatever caused the massive change, I'd love to know so I could recommend it to the Mrs!We need a shoutout for Hamer's amazing transformation from perpetual sinner to saint.
How's he done it? Strength of will? Coaching? A bollocking? Or have the club sent him off to a psychiatrist / psychologist to help him temper his need to niggle and scythe?
Whatever it is, not sure I've seen such a change in a player, without him losing his effectiveness, either.

It's not just that he hasn't lost effectiveness. To me he's hugely improved. I wasn't really too keen on him before when people were raving about him, but I love the new Gus, and as you say the character transformation is impressive. We need a shoutout for Hamer's amazing transformation from perpetual sinner to saint.

Loved the way Wise had the ref in his pocket easily in the short time we had him.he has started working the ref - watch him - constantly talking to the ref, getting them onside, and if he does clip someone - a cheeky grin
He is gettting cleverer at it

We were on about that at half time he has cut out all the back chatting and and just seems to fight to get the ball back all the time instead of just barging in and retaliating for fouls on other players. We need a shoutout for Hamer's amazing transformation from perpetual sinner to saint.
