just close the thread
There was a bit on Jeremy Vine's radio show on this very subject some time ago. Basically
a lot of top executives especially those in the banking and stocks and shares industry have psychotic personalities. Not the sort of people you'd want to leave to get on with it unregulated because there's every chance it could trigger something like a world banking crisis. Thank god all the world powers were on top of this and tightened regulations instead of relaxing them otherwise we could have got ourselves in a right old pickle. ................ oh wait?
You are confusing psychotic with psychopathic Tony, they are very different things.
We live in a world run by psychopaths. Psychopaths are everywhere. In fact, psychopathy is a fundamental part of the human condition.
The top five things to look out for if you suspect someone is a full-blown psychopath are:
1) No remorse. Psychopaths never doubt themselves and never feel any guilt about what they do
2) Nothing is ever the fault of psychopaths. They always blame everyone else, and never themselves.
3) Psychopaths have a great capacity for charm that can be switched on and off.
4) Psychopaths are completely self-focused and never do anything that doesn't benefit themselves.
5) All psychopaths are game players. They will lie, cheat, manipulate, exploit and set others against each other to advance their own cause.
In a dog-eat-dog world, psychopaths have extraordinary advantages over others. They are not hindered by morality. They don't have any!
Ruthless, predatory, amoral and immoral free-market capitalism is a godsend for them. In a fair, rational, moral world, psychopaths would fall to the bottom of society (where they belong). In an irrational, immoral world, there's nothing to stop them.
Remember, psychopaths never do anything that doesn't help themselves, and they will step on anyone (even their own mother) to get what they want. They don't let any obstacles get in their way, least of all moral principles. Psychopaths are callous, unemotional and fearless. They're con men and shapeshifters who come with multiple masks; a mask for every occasion.
Think this might be confused with psisupath!

Hitler,Stalin,Genghis Khan, and Maggie Thatcher all known psycopaths.
I read recently that Adolf wasn't a vegetarian as he ate meat and he only liked Alsatians as they were aggressive.Hitler was a vegetarian animal lover so certainly doesn't fit the Psychopath mould.

He also liked children but only blonde blue eyed ones !

I never thought I would ever agree with you Grendel, but on this you are spot on. Thatcher bears no comparison, as you say.Whatever the view on thatcher (frankly the notion she was anything other than a typical 19th century Liberal, especially regarding Europe is absurd) to compare her to autocratic mass murders is absurd.
What the fuck has this got to do with Football.
The OP is correct there is a lot of research that point towards psychopathy within senior business leaders
and devout Christians?
What about Christians who only pick the bits they like....
