I would look to sell Chaplin & BakaSell Chaplin
We really don't seem arsed.
to much of this nonsense going on now. Just carry on playing, if it's a head injury or an obvious broken leg let the ref stop play.
I’m pretty certain we won’t even be close to scoring
Yep - this playing the strongest team hasn't made the slightest difference IMO. At least some of the U23's might've put in a bit more effort. Been a non-event second half.
The keeper signalled that he was injured, he tried to throw the ball out so he could get treatment (and he had to be substituted and helped off the pitch after).to much of this nonsense going on now. Just carry on playing, if it's a head injury or an obvious broken leg let the ref stop play.
Seen this at the villa leeds game leeds give villa the goal back its absolute nonsenseIt was the keeper who was injured. He had to be taken off in the end.
As soon as he went off, I would rather have brought Wakefield on and played with proper wingers and tried to get the creativity from him and Thomas, stretching Doncaster across the pitch. That said, I can still see a random 88th minute equaliser out of nowhere.Agreed we are very poor without bright
Ponti coming on to play right wing ?Ponticelli coming on for Shipley.
We are one nil down against a strong team with something to play for - how would playing some young kids with zero experience possibly end up with a better outcome?
Ponticelli getting 16 minutes??? Is Robins trying to ruin the poor lad??!
Plymouth have retaken the lead against unsporting Iron
Bournemouth just played a 17 year old keeper against Tottenham, he played a blinder, kept a clean sheet and was voted man of the match. We are one nil down against a strong team with something to play for - how would playing some young kids with zero experience possibly end up with a better outcome?
The problem is that the ball has to go dead before a player can receive treatment. Outdated and potentially damaging to injured players. Let trainers come on at any point. Admittedly it's a bit different if it's the keeper ...The keeper signalled that he was injured, he tried to throw the ball out so he could get treatment (and he had to be substituted and helped off the pitch after).

Not saying it would - just saying it'd be far more worthwhile to us to have got some experience for those who will be here next season looking to step up than have a group who likely won't be playing like they're already on the beach.
I agree also it would of been wrong to other teams around Doncaster if we'd have played the youthWe are one nil down against a strong team with something to play for - how would playing some young kids with zero experience possibly end up with a better outcome?
Should be playing strongest team every time. High stakes or not. This “nothing to play for” is complete bollocks and is a loser’s attitude. Youngsters will have plenty of look-ins in pre-season - which is kind of what it’s for!
“Way over his head”Thomas has a shot but blocked
Hiwula crosses to Chaplin, way over his head.
My lawnmower has got blade settings that would be too high for Chaplin.CWR 'cross too high for Chaplin' Tee hee!
Camwell came in for the last game of the season a couple of years ago and did well but then never progressed. One game at the end of the season tells you nothing. But is nothing like a matchday atmosphere etc. Some step up to it, others don't and you won't know unless you try them.
