Birmingham games 160 goals 68
Everton games 236 goals 106
Swansea games 87 goals 35
Top scorer at Everton for a number of seasons. By the time he left only the legendary Dixie Dean had scored more goals for them.
He may not have been world class Grendel but he was certainly "good".
Oh if you are talking our failed strikers we should be able to keep going until the new stadium is built! For us he was useless same as many other aged players who ended their career here.
Someone will call themselves graham withey next or tommy Langley anyone?
Worst of the lot John Gayle....Bobby Gould "he's not the finished article yet" you were not wrong Bobby you were not wrong.

But that could be said of any over aged player at any club, doesn't make them shit just past there best. So would you say Pele and Maradonna were shit if they had played here at the end of their careers?
Just a stupid statement based on the last couple of seasons of a successful career
I'm saying most people would use an alias of a player that they remember fondly at Highfield road. Kevin McDonald once was a fine player at Leicester and Liverpool but here was a disaster.
The point isn't hard. What's hard I suspect for you is I can reel these players off very easily and you haven't a clue who I'm talking about.
Thats because you are not doing it from memory, just a load of facts in books and on the internet.very very sad.
One we let get away...Chris Marsden 8 games on loan from Wolves coming back from injury. Didn't look fast but could pass a ball, had worked out where he was going to pass it while it was still on the way to him.
The sort of ball player we were crying out for and was always looking for the ball. We bulked at a fee of 50-100,000 for him. Would have been a bargain went on to play over 100 games for Southampton and became a fans favourite.
When ceo tim fisher claimed the trust's members were Lions led by Donkeys

I disagree with about 99.9% of G's posts on our current situation, but I'd support his knowledge of CCFC absolutely.
He only remembers the bad players and things he can slag off. We struggled most seasons in the Prem but for me they were good times.
Why would you just keep up dragging the bad points?
That's what pisses me off, I understand opposition fans doing it but not a so called Coventry fan.

There certainly was good times, many of them. I think it was a magnificent achievement to stay the top league of English football so long. I think there was only Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal who were there when we arrived and not been relegated during our stay.
Spurs were relegated some time in the '70s I think.
Benjamin - The long-lived donkey who refuses to feel inspired by the Rebellion. Benjamin firmly believes that life will remain unpleasant no matter who is in charge.
Of all of the animals on the farm, he alone comprehends the changes that take place, but he seems either unwilling or unable to oppose the pigs.
Going back to the original thread, I believe the Lions and Donkeys will be on the Hill tomorrow.
The snake will be in the ground...
Surely it would be amazing to see thousands of fan wearing these donkey masks at a game....I'd be in..

That Nick, would be funny as anything and would get massive media exposure, however, shouldn't the fans be wearing lion masks and the trust donkey masks, with the donkeys leading the lions in?
Funnier to be all donkeys
As the Trust board from what I've seen is just normal Cov fans, accurate to the statement too.
I'd love to see this. You reckon we could get a job lot?
