We wasn't in LL for both games though. Exonerated is pretty much all they could do given what had gone before but those capable of rational thought and not being brainwashed must surely accept it was a factor. Nit the reason, certainly not the biggest problem, but a factor all the same and niaive to imo think otherwise. But I wasn't there and don't imagine many here were so as I say my opinion. If we all agreed then forums would be pointless places.

Shame on all those who have continued to go and add to the charade and accepting that its ok to go. Whilst the weak continue there is less reason to come home. No conscience no backbone just selfish and in many cases hypocritical following like lemmings who are too blond to see how much damage they are going and who hide behind "I'll support my club wherever" rubbish.

Why do you describe it as weak to take the unpopular minority view? I can understand selfish maybe, in terms of doing what one wants to suit oneself rather than take a majority standpoint, but why do you say weak?

I'm not sure what you're on about with the Gary speed thing, but yes I still think Liverpool fans were PARTLY responsible for what happened at Hillsborough. I have read hooligan books about them all over Europe on the 80s without tickets and also that drink was a factor. Not excusing the ground issues or the police far from it, but to exonerate all of them completely (imo) is wrong. That eont change but is an argument for another thread another day.

All football supporters were the same then, so to try and blame the supporters of Liverpool is wrong and blame the people of Liverpool (as the sun did) was even worse. You never put any blame on the goverment, but they were to blame for makeing the clubs put up fences around grounds that were never designed for them, that is why the goverment told all the grounds to remove the fences as they were all dangerous.

FACT #1 taken off my feet outside looking lane gate, scary and relief to get in.Deliberately went left to avoid centre tunnel.
FACT #2 Looked packed and worrying from k o p end. Myself and friends all commented after the game how dangerous the ground was.

When Conservative led government issues a profound and unreserved apology take note, the truth could not be hidden any longer.

Jesus this argument has been done a million times over, it won't make a blind bit of difference if it's empty they don't give a shit.

Let's be honest there will probably be about 1600-2000 regulars and they will make up for the shortfall in numbers by selling off any sign of talent as soon as they get offer over 500k in. If torch wants to take his lad more power to him if I can't get my little girl to a pre season game this year I will have to give in and take her to that place as she is constantly asking to go and watch the sky blues. As much as we all hate it those that go are not causing us to stay there our stinking weasel low life piece of shit scum bag cum gullet owners are the reason we are stuck there.

But the fences were put up because fans couldn't behave and Liverpool fans at heysel were a good example of that. It was an ill thought out idea to cage them in but wouldn't have been required if people behaved themselves. Again with fences not completely culpable but another failing and another factor in the disaster. So many things in the set of circumstances that to blame just one thing (and I include Liverpool fans in that) would be wrong. In short im in no way saying it was their fault and certainly not the victims but that some of their own will be partially culpable although they would never admit so.

Has the goverment ever admited they were in any way to blame. It would never have happened if the fences had not been there.

Sometimes, in moments of doubt, when you might be unsure of the best course of action, just pay attention to the musings of the biggest shit for brains moron you have the misfortune to come across and take the opposing view. It'll see you right.

Sorry OF missed your post. Weak imo because it lacks moral fibre to stand up for what im sure they believe in but think they'll simply attend as it won't make any diffeence and some other poor sod will sort it out. If we all stood together shoulder to shoulder and didn't go then imo we would be home by now.

Grendal, that is the most hateful and despicable statement I have seen on any post. You should be ashamed!!

In fairness he isn't actually suggesting that. As much as I despise his musings he was misquoting something I posted a while back. Of course it was deadly serious but then as you can't unpost from their misguided memory they think its a rational response to my posts because they can't rationally argue the valid points I make to him and torch. Nortern wisdom just dislikes me but I think I'll sleep ok.

You say you are sure that's what they believe in but a belief doesn't have to be so strong as to inform behaviour or action. You could take incisive dramatic and memorable direct action to support or publicise your own cause but I doubt you would. I wouldn't say that makes you weak or lacking in moral fibre. It's exactly the same though.

The difference is that I express idly as an opinion rather than type "FACT". Surely 99% of this forum is opinion and conjecture.

i think those that have stayed away from sixfields should have a loyalty discount on season tickets when we return home

Would that include eveyone who went to the Johnstones Paint game (30,000) or those who went to Crewe in the league (9,500)?
Just so we are clear.

I would be happy with just you or RFC not getting a discount.

The opening post by Kingokings is right and was right last year.
Anyone going to Sixfields is colluding with Sisu.
There is no new fantasy ground.
There is no 3-5 year plan.
Going to Sixfields is simply playing a part in dragging this on even longer.
Us City fans have done very little to protest about the damage Sisu have done to us.
At least don't support at Sixfields. Even emptier stands is a very visible protest.
Go to away games. There are plenty of fairly local games.

Fisher's latest stamping of his foot by insisting on appealing the JR - while still maintaining a new stadium will be built, details of which he'll release when he's good and ready ... puts on the image that nothing has changed.

I'm not going to join in any mud slinging of people who go to Sixfields. However, if there was a sizable boycott, it would send a message to Fisher that we're not falling for his bullshit.

Don't you kid yourself our them.
Why do you think Fisher and Co have had all these secret meeting? Still going on by the way.
Why are they asking the same questions to each of us?
Q. What will it take to get more people to support the team at home.
A. Should have listened to your own staff and the fans at the forum DON'T LEAVE WE WON'T GO sorry.
Sorry but to say they don't care on that point is madness, they are haemorrhaging money every week with no income coming in to pay it, No company can keep that up for long.
