Just read this piece on us. Think it’s an interesting read to be honest. Nothing really new in it but offers more insight I guess into the club especially around the arena concerns I’ve seen some share on here about the issues with the arena business.

Good read. Hard to take issue with DK when you look at the big picture. Reading that makes it even more frustrating when you hear the team getting dogs abuse at home games and DK getting the same because we didn't get the CM we wanted. Ah well.

I like the way Doug goes about his business. We've been calling out for the changes he's made for years, he's made it happen in months. Yes he's made some mistakes around stock levels, trying to manage the family zone situation etc but they've been quick to resolve those as best they can and he's taken full responsibility as leader of this business.

Good read, and we need to remember how far we have come.

We're all disappointed with the start this season, and the midfield situation, and I'm sure the club are too.

We don't know what goes on behind the scenes- take what happened with Stamenic but also the way Basette suddenly appeared. Its not easy getting it right, and I'm certain they are not doing nothing! DK has done so much right, in such a short space of time, that we need to trust and back all at the club.

Couldn’t agree more. Think where we were a decade ago and even just 6/7 years ago and maybe we are better off biting our tongue a bit.

whatever way you cut it we are now a competitive championship top half side. We arent in year after year relegation battles. It’s been quite the journey and Doug king has officially been here 20 months. It’s incredible really. Some fans would better off be reminded we were in the depths of league 2 not so long ago with no future whatsoever. A loss to Norwich at home seems quite trivial then.

“I examine the season ticket sales and what was most encouraging was to examine the age and the percentage of female supporters who were buying season tickets. That suggests that the wider Coventry community is feeling enthused and part of something.

Very interesting.

What he means is less scrounging kids.

I don’t think you can argue Kings impact has been positive. I still don’t know what drives him in terms of his affinity with us but it’s becoming substance over form. I certainly don’t row in with the “disappointment at the start to the season” feeling. Maybe I’m still too relieved we aren’t in L2 signing frees and overhauling points deductions.
