I doubt Turner has any inside info, he never does. He’s been regurgitating the same line for weeks and hasn’t got anything right in years. I recall he broke the news that Burge was being released, only for us to be stuck with the donkey for another 2 years. Since then I’ve taken everything he publishes with a pinch of salt.

Until I see it unveiled on the official website, I’ll remain skeptical.

Depends on context The cooling and death of our Sun is imminent, in about 3-7 billion years. Sounds a lot but in a galactic context, that's next week. In EFL processing terms, that's in next few days. In Cov's terms, that's still too long and is 2 days we've lost for buying key players and 2 days closer to having to sell some of our prized possessions. Or in other words, "imminent" will happen soon, an open concept of time. "Next few days" refers to a specific time period so is closed. People use open words to avoid being vilified when said action doesn't happen when they said it would.

Perhaps I've been a Cov fan too long or it's the anxiety/depression I suffer from, a small but louder and louder voice in my head is saying there is still a chance this is all bullshlt and that if this falls through now, I can see Robins and his management team walking away from this...

Wouldn’t read too much into Boddy being there myself - It’s not too uncommon for people to stick around after a takeover in a sort of ‘handover period’

If he isn’t kept on, I think he’d be here till the end of the season anyway
