Maybe he’s a mechanism whereby someone can buy ownership and Joy can park her 15% waiting for a jackpot. How long before Doug says he has had a rethink and pulls out of the deal to buy the club?
no doubt this won't be good news and we'll have a few years of Sepalla & Ashley slugging it out with the club caught in the crossfire
The club still wouldn’t own the stadium though, granted it would be reunited with it.That’s that then, Ashley isn’t just going to step aside or sell it. Only way we get reunited with the stadium now is if Ashley purchases the club.
Cheers Geoff.BBC reporting that Ashley has bought the stadium

Which groundshare do people fancy?
I think the question now is how much damage is going to be done on their way out.Surely this is the beginning of the end for sisu.
I’m not sure it gets that far, King pretty much said SISU have no money. It’s end of the line for themI think the question now is how much damage is going to be done on their way out.
Would anyone bet against another move? We all know that the EFL would allow it, just needs SISU to say there's no other option so its move or no more club.

Hugh’s at the door.At this point 5he only people in the public eye who haven't been rumoured to have put a bid in are Jimmy Nail and Hugh Fearnley Withinstall
A technicality , most English club stadiums owned by individuals rather than the clubThe club still wouldn’t own the stadium though, granted it would be reunited with it.
Of course SISU has money behind it.I’m not sure it gets that far, King pretty much said SISU have no money. It’s end of the line for them
I think that's about right now reallySo let’s stop playing silly buggers and give Ashley a price.
Standing back:
It cost £1m (plus vat) to buy a stadium that cost £115m for £15m.
Argue the value all you like - £30m whatever.
It’s the worst £1m Joy never spent.
At least it would be under the same umbrella and you would assume when Ashley came to sell the club he would sell the CBS aswell as part of the deal. The club still wouldn’t own the stadium though, granted it would be reunited with it.

Let’s hope so.At least it would be under the same umbrella and you would assume when Ashley came to sell the club he would sell the CBS aswell as part of the deal.
‘After due diligence I’ve discovered that Covendry Cidy aren’t in the Premier Cup, so the numbers don’t stack up’How long before Doug says he has had a rethink and pulls out of the deal to buy the club?
now we will see if this Doug King is serious and conclude with his ‘takeover’ of the club
Or they just cut the budget, sell off anyone they can and watch us slide back down to L2 while pointing the finger at Ashley?I’m not sure it gets that far, King pretty much said SISU have no money. It’s end of the line for them
Find it difficult to believe that King is just a go-between for SISU and MIke Ashley... otherwise surely he wouldn't have been shouting about making a £25m bid for the arena.
I think the question now is how much damage is going to be done on their way out.

Probably lost deliberately againJeez, SISU are really bad at this court stuff. Maybe they need to find another strategy...
Is the 8 year lease still valid? If so, that line of argument wouldn't wash.I think the question now is how much damage is going to be done on their way out.
