Gavin.
Can't remember his surname currently but did know it.
Yeah it explains the guns.Looking at his profile on Facebook, he's taken his son to places usually used by infantry / special forces for training .. in the breacon beacons pen y fan, he's been camping and wrapped some mess tins in bags , and also has a post showing the motto of the United Kingdom ..
I'd say he's definitely an ex soldier , what kind of soldier could be the reason this is still going on longer than it should have .. I know it sounds Hollywood but just saying what I see
If you look at his profile he does "British Army" in his work history. From 2007 it says.Looking at his profile on Facebook, he's taken his son to places usually used by infantry / special forces for training .. in the breacon beacons pen y fan, he's been camping and wrapped some mess tins in bags , and also has a post showing the motto of the United Kingdom ..

Really interesting information coming out if true. Particularly in the light of the Alfie case. Allegedly he’s saying the kid doesn’t want to go home cause he’s being badly treated or worse. What a hard situation to deal with for all concernedAh didn't even see that lol

I get that and I think on balance I completely agree. Just interesting that everyone was saying if it was their grandchild they would have taken him and not let him goIf that’s the case he’s done the worst possible thing. More likely he loses contact now. Assuming he stays out of prison.

We had an allegation made up against us and had police and social services round it was extremely scary even though we knew we hadn’t done what was saidYeah I get it, if my daughter was actually being harmed there's a difference between not letting her go back and a full on armed seige.
That sort of thinking though can drive people to do mad stuff, when it comes to their kids I am pretty sure even the most calm, friendly people could show a completely different side.
I’m within the cordon now, they’ve extended it. Pretended I wasn’t going to the city arms to get out.

Hill might be traumatised by this. I think we should join him there to offer our support....Imagine if you are forced to stay there until it's all sorted?
They've extended it? I would like to know the logic behind whats has driven that. It can't be intel on explosives otherwise they would evacuate as well.
You're better off camping out in City Arms though, by the sounds of it.
It will be how close that last cordon allowed people to be to an armed officer. Within 10 metres. And there was loads of press knocking about. Full view of the house as well. Now they are out the way down by the library.

Good man, it's a working man's right to turn obstructions into an opportunity to go for a pint. I did it nearly every day when commuting back from Leeds with so many delayed trainsHad to have a third Guinness unfortunately.

This is the sort of unsung heroism that often goes unnoticed in these situations

Im struggling to see the resolution to this.
He clearly doesnt have any intention of leaving the house or allowing the child out, whilst taunting the police.
