I understand that there is a contractual agreement between the PL & EFL, which relates to promotion and relegation. Any deviation from that could lead to litigation between those two.Not sure how strong their case would be if it relied on the fact that they were in the promotion positions when the season was voided.

I think the whole scenario will be driven by what the Premiership decide, I have my doubts games will happen in July and if they decide to do ppg I then have my doubt relegation from the Prem will happen despite what the FA are saying.If no promotion then I'd imagine all those clubs with a reasonable chance of making playoffs would be suing PL - not just the top 2.
One thing if Championship decides how to end their own season, another if PL dictates how Championship season is ended.
