any club (or individual) that doesn't want the season curtailed and potentially derail our promotion is going to get stick. Why the shade towards Tranmere?
They got to the league cup final and were nearly promoted in 99 I think it was. They were non league and have done very well in pulling themselves out of their spiral and deserve every credit. Damn fine owners as well. A good model for us to follow.
He's given us pelters for all sorts of reasons over the years. But fair comments today.Durham in the Mowbray season absolutely slammed us for our loanees, saying how unfair it was blah blah
Surprised he hasnt started again
Absolutely nothing against them. There was a time when Stoke City where the sameWhy the shade towards Tranmere?

What is it about Bournemouth and West Ham and what relevance does it have to League 1 anyway? So many teams have games cancelled due to cups, internationals etc. Clutching at straws at best with that argument.
Weighted PPG is rightly off the table as a terrible alternative to PPG - you only have to look at West Ham & Bournemouth to see why that is the case.
I'm guessing it's down to straight ppg being the established formula. If the premier league couldn't continue then straight ppg relegated Bournemouth but weighted West Ham go down. What is it about Bournemouth and West Ham and what relevance does it have to League 1 anyway?

GoodWow...Barry Fry accepts defeat, motivated for next season now and Ivan Toney will be a big loss. Accepts there isn’t enough votes to continue season.
Peterborough United have been cheated by EFL ruling says Barry Fry, but the club will use a ‘sickening’ setback as motivation for next season
How good is Ivan Toney I’ve never seen him play. They seem to have him down as the division one Lionel Messi, would he be the same in the championship ?Wow...Barry Fry accepts defeat, motivated for next season now and Ivan Toney will be a big loss. Yeah I agree with that, do you know why they didn’t use it?I've got to say I'm a firm believer that it should have been home and away ppg so sympathise with Peterborough on that.
Anyone pickup in that Peterborough article it says clubs have until 5pm on Tuesday to vote?
Hasn’t a date been set by UEFAIt will be June by the time the vote is announced. Lol...by default the nasty 6 have prolonged the voting meaning season can’t finish.

Got to agree there’s good statistical evidence home advantage is a real thing.
