One thing. Through all this there has been absolute silence from everyone at CCFC. Class.
Apart from all of us mongs giving it large on here! Champagne and beers ready! (Can’t abide much champagne after the first bottle!)
PUSB xx
Fucking knew it!Imagine the drama if Joy or Tim we’re on Twitter.
Wow...Barry Fry accepts defeat, motivated for next season now and Ivan Toney will be a big loss. Accepts there isn’t enough votes to continue season.
Peterborough United have been cheated by EFL ruling says Barry Fry, but the club will use a ‘sickening’ setback as motivation for next season
Save me some tissues...if this pans out and we're crowned champs I'll be jacking all night1 Box of Tissues
1 Bottle of Jack
1 Bottle of Coke
10 mins of privacy if you don't mind, then I'm starting on the Jack
FUCKING YES! GET IN! FUCKING CITY TILL WE DIE!!
Has there been a decision yet ? Someone help the Mackems out, please. I jumped into that S'land playoff thread where I left it earlier and they're venting faster than I can read
I think that's the first grammatical error i've seen @shmmeee make! So maybe it isn't??!Fucking knew it!
So how close do we think the vote might be. I hope we down have any more twists and turns.
Spot onBottom line is, all the noise on social media seems to be Coming from Tranmere and posh... Ultimately the EFL will take their chances in a lawsuit against these 2 clubs after a democratic vote..basically, they've no leg to stand on and they know it
Well we are voting to play on. I can’t see Oxford or Fleetwood deserting their principles either. That’s 9 certs imo.I dont think more than 6 clubs will vote to continue let alone 12 personally
Sunderland
Peterborough
Gillingham
Tranmere
Doncaster (maybe)
Ipswich

It’ll come down to the Blackpool, Bristol Rovers and Lincoln imo. I think the vote to curtail will win. But not by as much as predicted.
Voting to end; You, Rotherham, Wycombe, Burton, Shrewsbury, Accrington, MK Dons, Rochdale, Wimbledon, Bolton and Southend. So that’s definitely 11.
Oxford and Fleetwood are guaranteed playoffs if they vote to end the season. You think principles come into it? HahahahaWell we are voting to play on. I can’t see Oxford or Fleetwood deserting their principles either. That’s 9 certs imo.

They’ll vote to play on. There’s no way when they entered the group of 6 teams they would go back on that, especially when the EFL board’s preferred position does technically remain to play on.Oxford and Fleetwood are guaranteed playoffs if they vote to end the season. I think you’ll win the vote. It’ll not be as big a margin as you think.
It’s not about the playoff games. It’s about principles as I’ve said. Clubs wouldn’t have entered a partnership without that intention.Would be surprised if Fleetwood voted to play on. They’ll fancy their chances against Wycombe in the play off semi
Got to agree there’s good statistical evidence home advantage is a real thing.
I've got to say I'm a firm believer that it should have been home and away ppg so sympathise with Peterborough on that.
What is it about Bournemouth and West Ham and what relevance does it have to League 1 anyway?
There's no way, when push comes to shove that any of those 6 teams really give a shit about any of the others. I think they'd all fuck each other over for guaranteed promotion. I think they'd fuck each other over even for a chance of promotion. Therefore the vote will be comprehensively on the side of finishing now. They’ll vote to play on. You say it’s about risking a playoff place. It’s about more than that.
I don’t blame you for voting the way you will. It’s a guaranteed preserve for your club. But Accrington and the like want to mothball L1.
Sure it’s a bit disappointing that we can’t celebrate it properly. But isn’t this a very good time to win promotion? With prize money and the apparent struggles of quite a few championship clubs?
Would be surprised if Fleetwood voted to play on. They’ll fancy their chances against Wycombe in the play off semi
It’s not about promotion, this is about the pyramid. L1 and 2 are in massive trouble here.OK so might actuly be tighter than we think then uggggh, whichever way we will have no problems winning the league, let 2 stubborn owners explain to their fans why they fucked them over, not our issue.
Imagine pompey and Fleetwood miss out then having to explain it to their fans jesus wept resignation tackle that is
Obtuse is the sort of out of contract cast off they'll be signing. I've heard Roy O'Dongonzales is signing there on a free tooTo be fair they seem to have ended up with Astute on a free transfer as well. Out the play offs and Obtuse is a hard pill to swallow

I don’t blame you. You’ve got a chance to go up by voting for yourselves and that in turn secured your future. It’ll never happen again.
But if L1 doesn’t come back, that’s it for L1 football for 12 months imo. Won’t affect you. Could affect us if we lose. Will affect Sunderland and Ipswich.
It’ll be something like 14-9 in your favour imo.

Tbh, it wouldn't matter to us either way. We were a mile better than anyone else in this league. Play on we would be champions. PPG we'll be champions.

Maybe it's the Cov pessimist in me, but I am surprised at the confidence on this page. Can definitely see a scenario where majority of clubs choose to play on (although unlikely). Also, it has to go through a vote from the whole EFL, which will inevitably be influenced by the Premier League. If they have any problems restarting then there's a good chance this could go on for a while or even result in null and void. It wouldn't be Coventry without doing it the hard way...
It is from the EFL, but the Premier League could still get involved.Null and void is off the table isn't it?
