Exactly mate. They'd essentially be voting to risk their play off place and play games they'll lose money playing to chance their arm getting an automatic place.
Are they going to do that?
Bearing in mind both Oxford and Boro have to play us away which is pretty much a guarantee of dropped points.
Imagine the drama if Joy or Tim we’re on Twitter.
West Ham & Bournemouth have both played 29 games. They have both played the exact same number of Home (14) and Away games (15). They both have the same number of points, and West Ham have a better goal difference. Under wPPG Bournemouth move above West Ham.
So what this means is that wPPG is not basing the results of the league based on the results of the 29 games, in actual fact it is deciding based on the predicted results of the remaining 9 games. That's a massive concept change from what PPG is trying to do.
Once you get into the prediction game we are going to have to start looking at which teams have top half teams to play away from home and so on. You open a massive can of worms with wPPG.
Edited to update home/away number.
People are saying on twitter its 51% between all 3 leagues not Individual leagues?
I think thats a vote to agree to either of the two options and then the individual leagues vote for their preferred outcome - I think!!
The FA as the governing body of the sport in England .... and have a strained relationship with the PL at times have said there must be promotion & relegation...... if the PL try to ignore this .... the FA could sanction themIt is from the EFL, but the Premier League could still get involved.
True, but as has been shown in previous times, it is the Premier League who hold the power, particularly with their bank balance. The FA as the governing body of the sport in England .... and have a strained relationship with the PL at times have said there must be promotion & relegation...... if the PL try to ignore this .... the FA could sanction them
So the options will pass in all divisions easily I'd imagine, then individual leagues?
Any PPG calculation is a prediction until the end of the season. The point is that localised effects around who plays top half or on a Wednesday aren’t as reliable or significant as home advantage is to pretty much every sport ever. And while there may be quirks like you state, they’re no different to teams that have played fewer home games getting a punished right now.
The politics of it is another matter. But as there’s a qualitative difference between home and away games I feel it should be taken into account as it’s a simple fix.
Not sure he’s quite got the hang of how secret ballots work.
He kinda has a point. We are not voting stop because we can't afford it, we are voting stop because it is in our best interests. Oh well, I am sure he won't turn his nose up at the Godden promotion fee.
I think you need help, call 999 .I think this lockdown is getting to me. I'm starting to miss Snowflake and his stupid posts!

The only good thing to come out of this is Coventry city will be promoted because they deserve it, Mark Robins and the fans deserve it
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. There is the issue of the second potential spike in infections. If the government is so confident of test, track and trace ..... why are all the nightingale hospitals being kept on standby despite being mostly empty?
The NHS is clearly keeping extra capacity for the autumn or when the lifting of restrictions cause another problem
To be fair we don't know why the club are voting stop now. As much as it gives us promotion it also saves the club a lot of money. We all know finances were tight so if we suddenly needed £500K ti finish the season with virtually no revenue coming in it may have needed Sepalla to open the cheque book. Whose to say she hasn't instructed Boddy on how to vote?He kinda has a point. We are not voting stop because we can't afford it, we are voting stop because it is in our best interests. Oh well, I am sure he won't turn his nose up at the Godden promotion fee.
£25 - are you sure?lets buy Toney for £5m and sell him for £25 the season after, that will go down well
£25 - are you sure?
Which one was "Snowflake"They could be on here for all we know.
I’m sure fleetwood said they probably vote to end if there was a play off place.Well we are voting to play on. I can’t see Oxford or Fleetwood deserting their principles either. That’s 9 certs imo.
It’ll come down to the Blackpool, Bristol Rovers and Lincoln imo. I think the vote to curtail will win. But not by as much as predicted.
Voting to end; You, Rotherham, Wycombe, Burton, Shrewsbury, Accrington, MK Dons, Rochdale, Wimbledon, Bolton and Southend. So that’s definitely 11.
I heard a while back that the idea is that once the covid numbers come right down existing hospitals will start to catch up on all the other operations etc and covid 19 patients will all go to the Nightingale sitesThere is the issue of the second potential spike in infections. If the government is so confident of test, track and trace ..... why are all the nightingale hospitals being kept on standby despite being mostly empty?
