Agree with this. Need to improve his holding up of play with his back to goal, but actually laying the ball onto oncoming runners he’s pretty good

Good performance outside of the goals tonight. Seems to be much better at linking play when he's knocking it quickly to a runner. The really heavy touches seem to come when he's trying to retain possession himself.

Yep, I have always said there's a heck of a player in there but he has some really rough edges to work out. For something as basic as his first touch to be as ropey as it is given the levels he's played at is crazy. I know it was something David Unsworth was trying to work with him on at Everton.I still don’t get how he’s so bad at trapping a ball though.
