these are my best years of supporting the team by far - and I was first there around 1978.Just come back from my local off the Binley Rd, place is full of fans in City shirts on a high. You wouldn't of got this in the Premier League Days. Should be another 30k next week!

The atmosphere would of been flat as fook at the final whistle if Thomas hadn't of scored that last minute winner.I have to confess I now get very emotional on watching the team celebrate at full time with our fans - with everything on the line and late winners.
Why?
I never thought I’d see these days as the game nearly died through hooliganism in the 80s with 7,000 odd at HR.
In L2 and L1 without a home - didn’t even think we’d have a club.
Recent games we've done everything to give it away with every game being a cup final but somehow we get it over the line. The release on winning is unreal.
Seeing us at 5th in front of 30,000 and the connection with the supporters and team- some of us who never left - simply tears in my eyes. These are amazing days.
Surely got to sell out again next week before the international breakWill be a real test at £37. Although if we beat Derby, it will tempt a lot of people.

It would be great if we did as Sunderland will sell out
If Stoke had sold their full 3k allocation then today would've been a league record crowd
Good lad!My 9 year old lad hugged me crying saying “this is why I love football” after the winner and then was ready to steam into the Stoke bellends trying to boot the fence down when we came out of block 10.
Should be another 30k next week!
I'll tell you why I enjoy days like today. I'm sure I told this story on here before, but I'll tell it again anyway.
Around the time we were leaving Highfield Road, I went to the club shop to buy a coat. Used to wear it everywhere, to school, to football games, out and about in general. It had our badge on it and I was really quite proud of it. At the time, I lived on St George's Road, and me and my Grandad would walk from there to the supporters club in Freehold Street every Wednesday evening for a game of snooker.
On this occasion, we were walking there, and we passed a girl walking her dog who must have been about my age (14/5 at that time). I was wearing my coat, with the badge on the front. She stopped, looked at us and asked "shouldn't that be an Arsenal coat?"
They were the "it" team then, of course. But it did get me thinking how little of our own shirts/merch you saw people wearing compared to the likes of Arsenal and Man United. I've often thought of that moment over the last two couple of seasons, with the playoff final, the cup run, and now our current form and wondered if it had happened again now, how different a conversation it would probably be.
Yes repeat of today, I never thought I'd see the day we regularly get 30k never mind 60kJust to be clear, you mean a repeat of 30k and not an additional 30k?!

Shame the sky cameras took up a few hundred general admission seats.
Do sky cameras take up those seats at other 'bowl' stadiums?
Really should be 30k for all the remaining home games
Just to be clear, you mean a repeat of 30k and not an additional 30k?!
A great and heartfelt post Danny like so many of your posts. Our club is certainly back and with great potential.I have to confess I now get very emotional on watching the team celebrate at full time with our fans - with everything on the line and late winners.

Yeh it’s amazing what a few streaky wins can do for the atmosphereI have to confess I now get very emotional on watching the team celebrate at full time with our fans - with everything on the line and late winners.

I must admit i choked up at the end seeing Robins walking off pitch.
Theres only one Mark Robins. What a man.
I plan to learn the words but my memory for songs has never been good!It is absolutely brilliant going to the games at the moment.
Just wish people would stop crying over the clapping we live and die. Get over it. It’s class whether we clap or not.

I'm not sure.
I remember just before the 2023 play off final it was mentioned that along with the floodlights, in the event of promotion a TV studio would have to be built and improvements to the camera system would have to be installed. I'm not sure if that would mean the cameras would be somewhere else.
When the CBS first opened there used to be a gymnasium in the corner next to the away fans looking out over the pitch, I don't know what's there now but they could surely put a studio in there for Sky etc.
Yeah-forgot about that. You could also run around the perimeter of the pitch on the track if you were a member of the Gym.When the CBS first opened there used to be a gymnasium in the corner next to the away fans looking out over the pitch, I don't know what's there now but they could surely put a studio in there for Sky etc.
You could also jog round the pitch in the morning when you booked the hotel rooms they converted out of corporate boxes. Bloody loved doing that deal. £50 with a match ticket and drink in the casino. Big Murphy bed pulled down in the boxes, views of the pitch. Was an absolute steal, no wonder we were fecked financially!Yeah-forgot about that. Loads of space on the BalconyI'm not sure.
