Ran the FL predictor just to see if games went to form how many points we would need and ignoring the fact that we should not lose to anyone else we have to play this season (we probably will) got the following results;

1st Cov 85
2nd Bournemouth 82
3rd Yeovil 81
4th Sheff Utd 79
5th Swindon 78
6th Brentford 77
7th MK Dons 77
8th Doncaster 76

I am not saying we will win the league but just wanted to see the effect of the fact that the top 10 all have to play one another quite a lot.

Everyone seems to be saying 9 more wins for the play offs and looking at the above theoretical table it could well be correct.

The only thing that is certain is that there will be some strange results that change the above dramatically but just for fun and thought I would share it.

Not wishing to say your Sky Blue Predictor is biased but when you say if games go to form, how the hell have we caught Yeovil who have won 9 out of 10 and are 7 pts ahead of us with game in hand? I take it the use of the word form is open to interpretation?

We will drop just 4 points between now and the end of the season? So basically 11 wins and 2 draws?

If you actually read the post I said we wont get that many points I was more interested in how many the others should get. "ignoring the fact that we should not lose to anyone else we have to play this season (we probably will)".

Click to expand...

There is no Tranmere in there because they are in freefall. Oh yes, so you expect Yeovil to keep their current form do you?

If we get top 10 it would be an achievement

ist not what we want, but still, its an achievement considering the cack this club is going through

we could easily be in pompys shoes !
