Really don’t see it. Their goal was so poor. Could easily have held on to the 1-0. Italy certainly had more possession they didn’t cut through us at allLet's be honest though , Italy were the better side , we tried to defend a 1 goal lead onto the second half as if there was 10 minutes left and we didn't react to the subs made by mancini quick enough .. once Italy got ontop we struggled to impose ourselves onto the game at all , were sloppy and quite negative .
I don't know if we will ever have a better chance than that , and can't help but feel the game management was very poor going into the second half and beyond right to the penalties.
