I think the Blackburn fans are highly critical of their owners still and from what I've seen, they're not angry at Eustace leaving, saying that he's not been supported.
Apparently over the last couple of seasons, they've made about £40m in transfers but spent less than £10m.

Blackburn's last published accounts to 2023 show a wage bill that was 125% of turnover, accumulated operating losses in the five years to 2023 of around £87m.
The accounts seem to suggest selling players and a bank overdraft is helping to provide the day to day cashflow for the club to survive. It is no wonder that Eustace has left tbh.
