Yes that's right.

Want your voice heard?

Pack sixfields out and the overspill around the stadium, on the hill...

90mins of pure "sisu out" chants, banners, get the media down there.

We've done the stay away from sixfields vote but now this is the only way to get our voices heard for one more time before the season closes.

It will get huge media attention.

Crowds of a 1500 all season at sixfields and then suddenly full capacity, not because of giving the club money but to stand up to sisu in THEIR HOME!!

Let's get over 15k there for the biggest NO to Sisu vote.

Time to stand up and be heard.

PUSB

Let's bring her back home to Coventry!!!!

NO. The answer lies in ALL doing the same outside the Ricoh. The chaos that would cause will bring much needed attention and help focus everyones thoughts on the fact we don't play there anymore and are groundless.

What chaos would it cause though to be fair? If anything, if it caused chaos wouldn't it piss off non football local people? The chaos should be Northampton, make them not want us there and make CCFC see what they "could" have had. I am not saying everybody should go in, but in and around.

That place isn't as designed for as many as the Ricoh

For me the Ricoh would make more sense as you will get more people as there is less travel involved.
You will also get more taggers on ie family and friends who would not normally be moved to protest.

The bigger the number the better and the bigger number will naturally happen at the Ricoh.

However the protest itself should encourage everyone who wants to protest. Be it SISU Out. ACL Out
Council Out.
FL out
Ricoh Out ( just for you RFC)

Whatever as long as people turn up shouting Coventry City FC should be in Coventry

It needs though to be 5 times bigger than the Coventry Crowd at Northampton

So what happens when people get there? Just stand around an empty arena shouting?

Nick, the point is our support is in Coventry. Getting a large attendance is much more likely. How would you ever get any sizable crowd to travel over to sixfields?
Once at the Ricoh and assuming some 5, 10 or so thousand are mobilised, then yes the chaos would ensue for the traffic problems, the fact such a large crowd would need to be policed, which is another problem.
Standing around utilising all the car parks and exterior grounds with that many people protesting would certainly get noticed.
The point would not be lost on anyone either that the team are some 35 miles away but the fans are at the Ricoh in their thousands at the exact same time? It fits with both sides of the supporters arguments - those protesting SISU and those protesting the council/ACL because we all have a common goal (excuse the pun) in showing we want our team back at the Ricoh, a place to call our home. There is less need to be on either side of the argument, just make it clear to all the factions involved what the real fans require and where they will be when these protagonist realise how foolhardy they have been.
Says it all really.

To be honest, I can't see any point protesting round the Ricoh Ccfc are not playing there. Sixfields is the best place to do this and we couldn't be playing anybody anybody better. March from the train station and just bring Northampton to a standstill. They dont want us there, we don't want to be there so let's force an issue their end.

What will this achieve ?
Tell me Nick would this achieve more or less than the total boycott of a sixfields for one match ?

Will achieve nothing, I didn't say it would. I just said it would be better than chaos at the ricoh.

Can't remember saying would fix all of our problems

If we could pack the stadium and at the same time get Wolves fans to support us in one united visual protest, banners etc, it would at least be different....and we need different, to have any kind of impact.

The reason i ask Nick is your comments suggest you support this protest at Sixfields ?
Where as in the recent past any suggestion of any protest / boycott has been met by yourself with what will it achieve stance !
Now myself I believe that all the protests help in achieving our common goal.It keeps our profile in the media high and raises awareness in our plight.
Personally I would support this protest and fill sixfields but also I would want the preceding game played in front of an empty sixfields. This would also raise awareness with historically our lowest home gate ever.

I personally don't think it would make much difference, but out it would at least show unity between the fans outside and in, sea of sky blue. Pack out the hill and the ground if people want to.

Whether it makes a difference or not, the fans deserve a bit of fun rather than gloomily chanting at an empty.stadium.

It could be ten thousand outside and 2 inside, I also think those scarves are a good idea.

Will it bring us home, I don't think so but the fans deserve a good jolly and it would at least show sixfields couldn't handle the truth

I completely get nopm and I don't go to sixfields.

But this idea is to show fisher and sisu that we can bring the fight to their front door in Northampton.

It's a one off and on the last game of season.

At the same time we can show our appreciation to the Pressley and the team but target sisu.

Then it's back to NOPM.

I was saying chaos there would be better than at the ricoh, at least people can still either go in or on the hill and all the fans in one place and all wearing one of those scarves for example.

As seen with why and when, not all people want to shout and chant and get angry, but if a gesture is as simple as holding something up for 30 seconds whether they are foaming at the mouth with anger or quiet as a mouse they can get involved

Again, it probably won't change much other than a stop to the fan bickering and a party atmosphere and it's not telling people to miss games or go in.

The last let's get more to the ricoh idea was the perfect example of how detached the sky blue faithful are becoming since the sisu took over. If we play MK next season despite the top tier now being available I wouldn't be surprised if we take less than we did this season. Sisu are killing this club and we're running out of time to make a stand, not only to our owners but also the FL. Leaving the home end empty (apart from wolves fans) for what should be the biggest local derby of the season is the best demonstration of this.

I said all along that when we returned to the ricoh that we would be back in greater numbers than we had when we left. Just lately I've started doubting that prediction. The air has changed, people have lost optimism, regular posters on here are disappearing and people have found other things to do.

It is a shame that the Wolves game is not the very last one of the season and with promotion still to be gained for Wolves as a long kick off delay or delayed kick off for the second half would have thrown everything at the FL as they like all games to kick off and end at the same time last day to avoid teams knowing other results, what a shame that would have been on their final day of their 150 year celebrations.

I have vowed to never set foot in Shitfields but would do so for this one occassion if enough people were like minded. Fact is no more than about 50 would bother, rendering it pointless. And for that reason I'm out.
