So say he goes for €50m (not unreasonable if he has a good season), we’d get €4.5m (as they likely wouldn’t have met the add ons and if they have that’s another €4m anyway.
Thing is unless Doug wants his pound of flesh, I can’t see who we need to sign next year except maybe some loanees to freshen things up. Do we need a sale a season?

Very good, claimed the goal before that too but it was an OG a bit like Godden's "2nd" today. Heard him being praised a lot by the Radio 5 reporter. Something like "that man again once again on the left, doing all the damage". Which made me think of the theme to BBC war era show "It's That Man Again"(ITMA)", as heard shortly after the start of this:
