I was just going to post more or less the same thing, I thought the idea was to get game time into him, may have been better to get him in some league 2 team so at least he could play sometimesTranmere won 5-0 today but Ponticelli couldn't get on the pitch.
How come our own loan agreements don't specify that players must be played?
Maybe we should have loaned him to a L2 club where he would get more game time.
In his prime before injury problems? The more of McGoldrick I see, the funnier the joke that he’s in the premier league.
Clinton Morrison summarising on 5live, bring back Geoff Foster.
Presumably they are paying his wages.I was just going to post more or less the same thing, I thought the idea was to get game time into him, may have been better to get him in some league 2 team so at least he could play sometimes
People were saying that we played them at the best time for us, but they rose to the occasion.Bolton conceded 10 in 2 games. Really was 2 points dropped last week. Still its gone now, today was fantastic.
Watching Leicester vs Chelsea, Maddison is a great player - Glides with the ball and can pick a pass.
But you can just tell he is an absolute ring piece.

Anyone know if Bayliss has made the Preston team yet ?
Yeah just seen that,Bright came on for Wigan 65th min yesterday no sign of sterling in the squadHe hasn’t
I'm assuming you don't mean me?Now WHO was it who said Maddison would not make a premier league player.
He was always destined for the top. The way he turned on the ball and has quick feet set him apart by a mile to his peers when he was in league 1 with us. I text a mate who was a spurs fan when they were linked with him for 3m. He was dissing the prospect of him being as good as Dale Ali, not sure time has proved him right. Then again he said jordan Henderson was shit too and he went on to lift the CL last season!!Now WHO was it who said Maddison would not make a premier league player.
I think it would be a % of what Norwich get... At least that’s what others have said.Does anyone know if we have a solidarity payment clause with Maddison. As I can see man utd spending some serious money on him at Christmas or next summer. Even 5% would be huge for us...
Thanks. If that's right. It will be a % of the 60m profit Leicester make assuming he goes eventually for around 80-90m. Even if it's 5% were be very well off.I think it would be a % of what Norwich get... At least that’s what others have said.

Lets hope Wilson can score a few for Bournemouth too!!
No my friend, anyone who knows anything about the game could see Maddison would play at the highest level.I'm assuming you don't mean me?

I think we are due 2.5% of any Maddison transfer, as part of solidarity payments.
As he was registered for coventry between him being 12 and 18 - we accrue a certain percentage of a total of 5% for each year. Which is weighted more between the ages of 19 and 23.
So providing he is sold this year, we would be due 2.5% and Leicester/Norwich would share the other 2.5% plus whatever % of fees they have agreed.
I'm not 100% but this is what I got from a book on football finances I just finished.
The other caveat to this would be if we worked a transfer clause in, agreeing with Norwich we are due a slice of any transfer % they get from Leicester.
E.g. Leicester receive 100m, Norwich are due 20% so receive 20m. If we got 10% of the 20% then we would receive 2m.
PLUS
5% of 100m is 5m in a solidarity fund - we would then be due 2.5m in solidarity.
Bringing the total to 4.5m if he goes for 100m.
In practice, I am not sure we would have been able to negotiate that second slice of the pie from Norwich - as practically it's very hard to police and secondarily, I cant imagine Norwich giving that up.
Hope I’m wrong but when I did some reading around the subject over the summer my understanding was that solidarity payments only apply if the player moves between football associations i.e. abroad.
this is what i say in meetings when i have no idea what's going on and get asked a question hahaTbh, I'm right at the edge of my knowledge here.
Having watched the EFL on Quest over the weekend, I was pleased to see a number of ex-CCFC players featured - one great save by Kieran Westwood, Richard Keogh playing for Derby, Jordan Turnbull scored for Northampton, Ryan Haynes crossing for Newport's winner, brilliant clearance off the line by Aaron Martin for Exeter, special mention to Richard Wood for his defensive abilities for Rotherham and Courtney Baker-Richardson laying a goal on for Accrington Stanley - and those playing for CCFC reserves at Sunderland!
Impossible! He’s a championship keeper! And lee Burge getting splinters in his arse well done great move
