I wasn't comparing to now I was saying that it wasn't as good as "very good"Compared to now? It was fucking Barcelona. Murphy, Wood, Christie, Fleck, McSheffery, Baker, McGoldrick, Wilson.
Compare that to: Burge, Turnbull, Haynes, Rose, Reid, Jones, Tudgay, etc.
You're missing the fact he hasn't got a job......

Now confirmed by the Coventry observer. . I will await apologies ! My soucrce bang on again!
Good psychology by SisuGreat appointment and my first choice but didn't think there was a cat in hells chance. Finally got something right should have happened a on tome back. We're doomed this year but already feeling better about next season now.
Accepted hahaIf so, I am VERY surprised, and my apologies to you, Sir!
I will be very surprised if he is here to work for SISU - I think you will find it is for life beyond SISU
Accepted haha
I don't get why he would come back to a club who are set for league 2 football whilst in free fall and with a lower budget than he got last time. Same owners and worse conditions. Something isn't right here.
Hoping there is more than meets the eye.
He must have assurances
Needs the job? Been out of management over a year, much longer and he will start to be forgotten?I don't get why he would come back to a club who are set for league 2 football whilst in free fall and with a lower budget than he got last time. He may not have a job but blimey he could get a solid league 1 club with half a future easily surely? That's my point really. Come the summer he could of picked between a few league 1 teams. Why come to ccfc now when we are doomed and fans are staying away all the while the club is toxic. Don't get it. Someone explain it to me

Exactly all those managers out there have failed that is why they are unemployed.Needs the job? Been out of management over a year, much longer and he will start to be forgotten?
Assurances.
You are a joker
He had them last time then never Got them
Why? He's out of work and did well for us last time. He might even get us promoted again next season.
There doesn't have to be anything sinister behind every decision. I'm more than happy he is coming back. If he thought the job would be beyond him or too difficult he would avoid us like the plague.
Oh I really like the guy and a good manager especially for us. I don't get why a decent manager would touch us when I would assume he could get better offers. Wouldn't need the cash. Just struggling to comprehend.
Every time we get a new manager we are told by posters on here what a good appointment that is Slade included.Well it can't be that bad else he wouldn't jump back into the pot again. If i remember rightly he was equally scathing of the Council and the part they played in our downfall.
It's irrelevant as to who robins held responsible, he saw the shit storm coming with admin and moving stadium and jumped before it blew up.Well it can't be that bad else he wouldn't jump back into the pot again. He's either desperate or knows something we don't.
Although I'm leaning to desperate
I'm particularly pleased we didn't go for the cheap "in-house" option.
Satisfied or needs a job, he's not exactly in demand is he.Matters not what we think, believe or surmise. He's obviously satisfied enough to come back.
